Yeah I had such an “aHA!” Moment when I realized everyone’s “vlogmas” videos were in fact a month full of daily/near daily adds and not them casually sharing their fun Christmas time moments. I think it’s actually one of the most profitable times of a CZcamsr’s year… Remember people, influencers are not your friends!
Why is this so bad, if I may ask? People also work and get end-of-year bonuses/ commissions. Mariah Carey makes a ton of money from the same song we love every year. Why are people so against influencers making money- genuinely?
@@DesireUba well I can only share my own thoughts on the matter but I think the thing that sours it for myself is that they create this whole platform around being “genuine” and just sharing moments from their life; the audience starts to feel like they know these people, they see them as friends. So they trust the products they promote as if it was an actual friend recommending it. But influencers are in the business of marketing. They *might* use the product but (as is the joke if this video) they often DON’T use it. But people buy the things they promote because they think these people are using them and if you use it also, you will have the same results/share something in common with these people. So for me, it’s deceitful because you get lulled into thinking you can trust them. But if you can remember that essentially all of their videos are furthering their brand, all of their videos are essentially marketing, sure then I guess they’re doing nothing wrong. But they don’t want you to remember that. They want you to think they’re just like you and you can trust them. Which is why I want to remind people “influencers are not your friends”.
The ad sense this time of year is INSANE and you get way more brand deal opportunities. 100% YOU SHOULD care that your "favorite influencers" are taking advantage of this because I promise you they are lying and pouring out that coconut milk after telling you its all they drink every day. I have worked for multiple "influencers" and this is EXACTLY how it goes down, you're just missing the abusing your employees and making them work 4x as hard this time of year and giving no bonuses. I had to quit my other part time serving job during vlogmas every year (which sucks because that's tip money season) to work 12+ hrs a day on content

I am following your advice that you gave on a past video of keeping affirming even after it has manifested. In the past i used to affirm until it manifested and then I would freak out about how magical all of this is and I would stop. Now I decided to keep affirming even after it manifested and I find it way more powerful because it starts becoming a belief and a certainty and I start getting used to having my manifestation in my life permanently. I love it! No one had ever mentioned this and I think is the key not just tommanifesting but to keeping your manifestation around. Keep repeating your affirmations even after it manifests, you will come to expext it to be there, it will become an assumption and it will stay in your life.
Well thats the point she’s trying to make about how many influencers are in reality while many people think they’re just with superpowers… 1kg of make up always on point, spotless house, 5 star restaurant cooked dinner type of sh!t etc I can’t tell you how many I’ve seen lately exactly like I described yet with like 2-3 kids on top of that and no mention whatsoever about having any help just short clips of cleaning up type of sh!t when they clearly do have help because there’s no way in hell you can have the time for perfect hair make up perfect house create content etc with many toddlers. Unless idk you never interact w your kids behind camera and also never go to sleep. This coming from someone who cleans and cooks everyday and with just one 2 yr old. I barely have time for a quick bath/shower and on occasion some quick mascara etc. Not all of them are like this of course. Some are sincere and do show the reality that not everyday is perfect nor do they have time to look perfect everyday.
Reminds me of the mother in the fluellen family who pushes CVS products in most of her videos. Even when they go on road trip with three young kids she stops at CVS to get them healthy snacks.
