Why There Is an Unfinished Bridge Between North Korea & China

The New Yalu River Bridge is a bridge that has been in construction for over a decade. This bridge is supposed to connect China and North Korea to boost the trade between the two nations. However, it is most likely that this bridge will never be used for its purpose and will only handle a few hundreds of cars a day instead of thousands.

Interesting video. I'm an expat in China and think I should take a trip up that way to go check it out some time. 💯 agree that the bridge will likely never see the intended flow of traffic it was designed for and yes rather strange that the bridge does not include rail. Although perhaps the ccp knew that it would prob end up just being a waste of resources and likely built the bridge as is just to give an illusion of potential trade to keep stability in the region. I guess we'll never know for sure.
