late 1940s 0r 50 model..it's got a moulded dashboard..and for such an old car they have remarkably good quality driveshafts..I used to drive a peugeot d4b and one of the replacement driveshafts I used was a diy half citoen traction(for the outside bit ) half peugeot d4 welded in the middle and over the course of 5 years it was the only one that held up
I'm looking forward to getting my dad's LHD 1953 11BL at some point in the near future. It's currently out in France (it's still UK registered) and I last drove it in the late '90s before it went back to France. He's converted it to 12v with an alternator. What fuel or additive is best for running these on? I doubt E10 unleaded will do it any good and I definitely don't want to risk it.
Hi Chris, mine has been converted to 12v and an alternator which is much better than the 6v system and the lights are a lot brighter. I run mine in Super unleaded and I add Castrol lead additive with octane boost and I haven't had any issues at all. Good luck when you get to drive it again.
Great video. You must have had to drive that same road multiple times to get all those shots without the camera showing up in any shot. And that is a beautiful car! I hope that you are still driving it.
Thank you David, yes I spent a whole morning driving up and down the road. The most impressive thing about the video I filmed it all with just 1 polaroid cube camera, every time I went down the road I repositioned the camera. The shot of the front of the car was done with a piece of 2x1 wood bolted to the front bumper, if you look closely you can just see it. Yes still driving it, I also think it’s a beautiful car
In my opinion this has to be one of the smartest looking cars ever designed. I'm not sure how it would cope with Keighley's hilly terrain but at least Yorky is nice and flat.
I totally agree with you that it’s a beautiful design and actually it’s not bad on hills as it has 58hp and if you keep it in 2nd gear (there’s only three gears) it copes great as it can do up to 40mph in that gear.
Gorgeous car. I only have the Maisto metal model version but I love it.
Beautiful Citroen 🖤 love it !
Thanks for a nice trip in your nice car.
The class of a Cord without the overblown size. Truly a dream car.
Obviously a silent movie, beautiful car

Très,très belle 👍
beautiful car
This car puts many of today's cars to shame.
It's on the strange ingland where the traffic line is on the contrary ...

Left hand traffic!

@@myoungmby1 Your video is inspiring. I'm planning on making more videos about my Rolls. You set the bar really high. Very inspiring for me.

Nice camera-angles! But terrible "music"!
Sorry but it was the only copyright free music I had
