After spending 7 days in the Keys, which felt longer in video land, we said our goodbyes to new friends and started making our way to Miami Everglades. We were only in Miami for a couple nights, but Trish scheduled a walking tour in Little Havana and we ended up getting take out and sitting on South Beach. Miami is not for everyone, but we enjoy the people, culture and Cuban influence. For the first time, we include a flashback to our Everglades experience with Down South Air Boat Tours. It's amazing to see how much the kids have grown in such a short period, which makes documenting and sharing our travels rewarding.

Lots of travel shows on normal TV...not one single one...I repeat NONE of them can touch the energy and high spirits of KYD, the escapes this family provides on a weekly basis is incredible. It’s easy to understand why the flashback segment was so powerful not only for your family but also for the family of the gentlemen who piloted the airboat. Season one had all of your children together enjoying the experiences. Season by season we’ve watched your children grow and spread their wings. They might be pursuing their own educational activities, however your children’s travel memories will be with them for the rest of their lives. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.

Awesome episode as always KYD! Marc, don't be so hard on yourself! Season 1 will always hold a special place in my family's heart. That's the season that inspired us to purchase our first travel trailer back in 2017. We've since traveled thousands of miles across the country. Never in a thousand years would we have imagined ourselves doing so, but you guys are an inspiration and have been from the biginning; season 1 episode 1. God bless!
Sandra Westley from the UK it’s a wonderful life, we bought our first van in 1978, and travelled all over Europe with our kids, they have fabulous memories and loved every minute, our kids are in there 50tys now making memories with there own children, we are retired and still travelling but not as far now we are older.
Hope this isn't taken negatively as not intended to be. That was the KYD I fell in love with. No polished, corporate master class. Just cool, fun camping locations and watching a great family interacting, enjoying themselves and each other. Really neat seeing the young man Caleb is becoming.

I've been to Arizona once and appreciate that when you go under the umbrella there is no humidity to follow buuut... It was OCTOBER! and it was 106 degrees!!!! AT 10 AM!!! Humidity or not that's pretty hot! 🥵😅
Time sure flies when you're having fun...I remember the Everglades video like it was just yesterday.... you're kids have grown-up before the worlds eyes and rightly so, have turned out to we wonderful young adults. Congrats on doing the best job🥇you can surly be proud of as any parent would be.

I enjoy following your family. We are weekend warriors! ( have been now since 2013 ) My favorite part of your videos is your families smiles! My little guy just turned 6 yesterday, we are making memories one weekend at a time! We upgraded our travel trailer this past July!
You guys just give me such a good feeling. Wonderful that you did so much with your kids while they were young. Am absolutely loving Caleb. He’s a hoot , but enjoy watching him learn as you go. He will be an RV ‘r in some capacity as an adult. You have been raising 3 very capable adults. They will do well in this world. Love watching your videos. We are full timers, but are considerably older, so love to see where you go and live a little vicariously. Stay safe and healthy and continue on your travels. Love your family!

Just a heads up, I learned in the construction business you should never use an extension cord while it is still coiled up because of inductive forces and excess heat. I always stretch out my RV cord for this reason out of extreme caution. I think OSHA will even fine you on a job site for running an extension cord coiled up.

This is the episode where we caught up... Basically Binge Watched from episode #1 and now.. We are so Bummed now that we have to wait until next weeks episode. We will likely go back and watch the Central California Coast episodes since we live in Sacramento. Thank you guys for all the fun and adventure.

RE: Humidity. Nashville, TN is very humid in the Summer and since being from Nashville, I did the 109-mile cycling event, El Tour De Tucson (AZ) and was wiped out because I didn't know I was dehydrated...I didn't know that I had been sweating so much until I felt the salt crystals on my face and saw it on my bike helmet straps. The sweat evaporated immediately!
Good news guys about humidity is one of your skin's best friends. It's an essential for healthy, beautiful skin.Low humidity causes dry skin, dry hair, itching and chapping
I have been watching since the beginning and with the Everglades flashback it’s amazing how much Caleb & Carson have grown up. These videos will be priceless for you guys! Tell Caleb he needs to reboot his Classic Caleb channel 🤣.
Awwww! Very sweet memories. And the MSC cruise ship you saw in Miami was the exact one we just got off of in February right before the Covid lockdowns began. We love both cruising and camping!

Lots to enjoy in this week's episode. From the trailer connection hack to to quick tip about leaving the little wrench on the accordion thingy between the wheels (called Chock, but it isn't), it was great. I drove that for years before the new one was built! Talk about white knuckle driving!! Having watched you guys since your first video....you feel like family. I've taken family members on two airboat tours with Deep South Airboat Tours because of your video. We made great memories and the kids still talk about it.

Was just down in the sunshine key rv resort last weekend. What an amazing place! No words could describe how beautiful it is.
I love how Caleb is helping out, I really think you need to do more of the flashback videos, most definitely when you stay somewhere when ya'll was there in season 1.
That's what I'd call an "RV Resort".
The first full time job I had, I worked for a large inverter manufacturer who supplied inverters to Newell, Marathon, Country Coach, and several other high end bus conversion coach builders. i was blown away at how nice they were inside. I'm sure with today's technology, the ones I was in were "old school" by today's standards.
