"The biggest problem in the universe is no one helps each other." -Anakin Skywalker. Star Wars: Episode1-The Pantom Menace. This scene always makes me think of that quote.
I love this ending so much. It makes me cry seeing the culmination of everything about the galaxy's people finally coming together to stop the oppressive regime. This didn't even happen in the OT, since Rebellion were on their own in RotJ, but this time it really was the galaxy coming together, not just the Resistance. Hearing Lando do his signature laugh brings so much confidence and reassurance in the face of scary odds. Makes me tear up.
How I love this epic battle (including the triumphant return of the legendary corellian pilot of the Rebel Alliance Wedge Antilles on 0:57). I definitely love it too much !!!. May the Force be with this movie, always!!!.
As awesome as the scene was, Poe’s delivery of “look at this” I was a little weak (though to be fair he’s probably at a loss for words and he’s taking in what he’s seeing). However, the great music, Lando‘s triumphant laugh, the Ghosts appearance, and Finn yelling “YOU DID IT!!” warmed my heart
This Movie, has some problems. Rey Palpatine, not a fan. Rey Skywalker, didn't need to say it out loud things can be symbolic. Ben Solo was in Dire need of screen time, I would have preferred it if maybe he turned in Act 1 and was a driving force for good in acts 2 and 3. But this Scene, along with the Han Scene and Babu Frik, really make it all worth it. When I think back to Episode 9 these scenes that get my heart racing and fist pumping are the scenes I'll remember.
I was watching in theaters and at this scene when Lando appears, both myself and the 6 year old sitting next to me in Star Wars pajamas both jumped put of our seats cheering.i spilled my scotch, little guy dropped his Ewok plushie
Why do the rebels hate Leia but love Lando? - When Leia asked for help against a few ships and tanks nobody answered, but when Lando asked for help against an entire fleet of planet destroyers every rebel showed up.
@@robertfullmer2467 Well here's one thing for sure: I'll take an old man who failed to beat COVID, lost a big war overseas, did nothing about 7% inflation for a year, and half the time messes up his words over a guy who tried to overturn a free and fair election because he can't admit he was beaten fair and square and now wants to pardon a bunch of people who broke into and vandalized the Capitol in order to overturn his election. We've dealt with and survived the first of the two before (Spanish flu, 1970s stagflation, Saigon 1975), but the second of the two is something we've never dealt with and could erode our democracy, which I think is what makes America America.
@@vanyac6448 Let's get some things straight here. President Trump did not lose "fair and square". That joke of an election was everything but free and fair. Misdemeanor trespassing was the worst crime that those people committed. Them entering and moving around inside the capitol wasn't going to overturn anything. They didn't plant any bombs, throw molotov cocktails, or assault anyone. Yet they're being denied their rights and treated like terrorists. Should they be held accountable for their actions? Absolutely. But should they be detained for over a year without a trial and without lawyers? Definitely not! Last I checked, this was supposed to be the United States of America. Those people do indeed deserve to be pardoned. Voter fraud is what's going to erode our democracy. It played out to Biden's advantage in 2020 and as a result, we're now handcuffed to a man who's been acting like the very thing that the Left accused Trump of being: a power-hungry dictator!! All Trump ever wanted to do was protect the integrity of our elections, which you and I can agree is the bedrock of democracy. It was crystal clear to anyone paying attention that he was poised to win. Then all kinds of suspicious shenanigans took place.
@@robertfullmer2467 Well here's the thing, Trump's own lawyer's, when questioned under oath, admitted there was no evidence for the claims of fraud being brought forward. Also in mid-2021, a guy named Garland Favorito claimed that the 2020 election in Fulton County, Georgia was rigged and 100,000 tally sheets were not counted where they should have been. This is a county with a population of about a million and a vote-count of about 500,000 so if there was only about 5 votes per ballot-sheet, which is less votes than the alleged examples that Favorito provided, that would mean that the entire rest of Fulton County's population (not all of whom are eligible to vote) voted, so Favorito's claims were mathematically impossible. Lastly, why did Trump tweet "STOP THE COUNT" in states where he was winning but Biden was catching up, but tweet "KEEP COUNTING" in Arizona, where Biden was ahead? It's issues like these that make me suspicious of claims that the election was stolen. "It was crystal clear to anyone paying attention that he was poised to win." - yes, Trump was ahead on Election Day for in-person votes, but to me it's plainly obvious that with COVID-19 going around, many people would be voting by mail (including Trump, by the way), which would logically take time to count, so nothing suspicious here in my eye. And I spent every moment of the week of the election that I wasn't working looking at election news. "Trespass was the worst these people committed" - if that's true why did Brian Sicknick die, and why did 138 police officers on the scene get injured, including 15 hospitalizations? These people did a lot worse than trespass. Did they get mistreated? Perhaps, given that the prison system in America in general can be f***ed up, take a look at prison rape for instance. But what the capitol rioters aren't going through what people in a complicated case in general don't go through. 10 years ago, a professor living in my hometown tried to commit arson and came up with plans of shooting up the high school that I went to. After getting arrested, he spent over a year in prison before trial. In conclusion, the trouble with our justice system can't be fixed by pardoning a couple dozen rioters. And moreover, saying "they should be pardoned" is contradictory with your claim that "they should be held accountable".
