I for some reason love this guns design, especially with a suppressor on the end. It just feels like that gun you'd want in the apocalypse or for your 80's snowy spec ops missions.... See, see what I did there? It's subtle but it's there

This type of "gun desing" is called: bullpup, the characteristics of this desings is to make the gun as ranged as normal ARs but more compact.
It's futuristic

Normally people throw away their BBs that come with the gun, but I use them for my 203 shells
snow wolf bb that come with aug are good, i mesure them and they are like g&G ones also dont have buble inside nor krack on impact

Alas, they , more often than not , not biodegradable and thus forbidden in our locations.
Or if you have a CAM870, you can use crappy bbs for that, cause no need to be accurate with a shot shell
They never give bio BBs and all my local fields have a mandatory bio BB rule

Personally I love the design of the aug, and other bullpup rifles like the tavor
There was a guy years ago who played at tech brigade. He had an old school TM aug with a phantom kit. Fitted with a PSG1 inner barrel and silenced with foam on the inside of the body and around the gearbox. That thing was deadly quiet and could reach out and spread hate at serious range! One of those guns that always stuck in my mind. And a great platform for a quiet AEG.

I have my Aug Steyer A1 replica and I bought the Phantom kit...there's something about the aesthetics that drives me crazy!!

So i got to shot one of these thing in real life the real life version and the people never told me it had a progressive trigger... long story short they laughed at me when i pulled the trigger all the way back.
I have only held one. The Irish army issued one and I must say it’s really cool
back in the early 90s the f88 had a single shot lock out button in bottom off the trigger. just pull button down to activate. helps when shooting on the range. never used the lock out button during exercises. it has a dual pressure trigger anyway.
sometimes the lock out button would not engage when on the range so a burst of automatic fire would pepper the target mounds.
The Steyr AUG is the best looking Bullpup!!

My Austrian friend calls this gun a *shtyer* aug. What I'm trying to write is start the word as if you would say "shy" but with a "T". And IMO the military version of this gun is abolutely beautiful. And so is the bare bones P90 but all that crap on it makes it ugly.
ST is normally pronounshted SHT in German. In my limited experience.

I wonder if that integrated scope is worth it, or if it is better to buy the rail version and install a proper sniper scope on it.
I remember seeing a movie where Kevin Bacon kills a monster with this weapon and I loved the gun ever since.

I personally have always loved the Aug, first time I saw it was in Garry's mod darkrp and it was easily the best gun in our server, then one of the call of duty games added it. But I love the design
