8:37 ... Sweetheart, Jason telling Damian "Bat-cow? More like Bat stake." Is at worst a bad joke. Damian leaving a crowbar on this mans pillow is malicious (Because Damian knows about Joker beating Jason with one) and could trigger PTSD. Not to even mention the dying part. How are those comparable in the slightest???
I mean he’s a Crimelord/ vigilante, if he was unstable enough that he went into a panic attack any time he fought someone using a crowbar (a very common weapon in Gotham) then he’d have real trouble doing his job
@@humanperson2480 Yes, but trauma and PTSD are more complicated than that. Jason could very well be able to fight someone with a crowbar and be fine but then at his safehouse be thrown into a panic over one on his pillow. Depends on the situation and environment, like expecting to come across a variety of weapons while out crime fighting vs. expecting no one to have been at a safehouse and finding a crowbar on his pillow. You associate your home with safety (at least I hope you can), and prepare yourself whenever you go outside to be met with various triggers. (Also unstable is not a word I'd use to describe someone's trauma responses. It's a word with negative connotations and as someone who has panic attacks I didn't like the unintentional comparison to being unstable. None of this is supposed to come out mean or patronising or anything of the sort, I don't have very good people skills and I genuenly just want to help people understand what I mean and where I come from)
I do think joking about killing (and eating) the beloved pet of a full-on CHILD, is a bit beyond "a bad joke". Jason does not actually have a problem with crowbars. And Damian was like 10-12 at the time.
