My almost 2 year old cavalier took a very long time learning down stairs. I had to carry him part way and would increase how many stairs he would do over time but he was petrified of taking the first step downward.
Hi Charlie.. Sherlock is doing so well.. We think he will master the stairs ok.. He did great in the end.. So adorable as well.. Have a great day and weekend..
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Annarita dall'Italia! Ciao Charlie, ciao Sherlock, ciao Katia, ciao a tutti!Vi trovo in forma splendida 🌈🌈🤴🌻!
Ok I admit I love Sherlock oh and Apple, and the rest of the tribe 😀And of course you are pretty ok yourself you have so much love for you dogs . Thanks for the videos they always put a smile on my face I have a tri colour girl Selena which I adore 😊
Love to watch Sherlock but I have the opposite problem. We have a ranch house with no stairs except for the basement. my 3yr old girl will go down the stairs but not up. When the tornado siren goes off we have to go in the basement and it's always a challenge for her to go back up.
I taught mine by keeping him on a lead, knowing they're not just going to fall all the way to the bottom gives them so much more confidence to just go for it.
I’ve had two male dogs a couple of times and both times I’ve had the older dog for years and the other came in as a puppy. The older dogs had no problems with the new puppies but they both had let the puppy know who’s boss. The older was automatically the alpha dog but he was also very friendly and never aggressive about it.
We have three boys, one is enire,. plus I mind two other boys during the week and they all get on very well. There's a Retriever, two Cavaliers, a Jack Russell Terrier puppy and a very large cross breed! They sure keep me busy, but such good company.
Our youngest girl, is a tri who was flown in from Utah. She rules to roost around here. When she arrived here, she weighed a whopping 4 pounds. The first new face she met was another Cavalier, our black and tan, Rory. We were hoping that Rory would be an active playmate for our youngest, Jazzy. Instead, our 100 plus pound Leonberger, Spielly immediately caught Jazzy’s eye. The two have become inseparable and it is pretty funny to watch this teeny tiny Cav kissing this huge Leonberger girl. They immediately adopted each other
Such a lovely update on Sherlock. He certainly is growing up quickly. It’s so funny how puppies will race upstairs and forget that they have to come back down them again and then lose their confidence. It won’t be long before he will achieve it as he is such a clever little boy! 😊
Sherlock is absolutely darling! I’m hesitant about adopting as I am 77 and would hate to worry about my animals when something happens to me & I can’t manage their care. I miss my dogs!
Loving your videos. I have a cavalier puppy who is about the same age of Sherlock. My was born on the 1st of May 2024. He isn't great with stairs either.
@@chaskat35 no worries! Just impressed by your pups (grown and actual puppies) and their temperaments and beautiful faces… I’m in no rush to get a second Cavi at the moment but I’m also in New York and it’s good to know there are great Cavalier breeders within this state (I found my ruby in PA)
Good morning! Cute video. Always good to see Jamba. He looks huge compared to little by Sherlock.
❤😂🎉 Way to go sweet Sherlock. A little practice and you will bounce down those stairs. 👍🏻
Good job Sherlock! 🎉You are so handsome!🥰. Love your talking to your dad!!!❤️❤️🐾
You’re so beautiful Sherlock ❤❤ growing so quickly!!
Adorable! I love his white muzzle with his black nose in the center. Donut nose.
He is the sweetest cutest little puppy ❤❤❤
What a little sweetheart. My beautiful ruby hasn’t ever done stairs as I live in a disabled bungalow!
Aww he's a big boy, learning how to manage the stairs ❤
Sherlock everything in good timing 🐶❤️ your doing fantastic 😘🙏
Sherlock is so beautiful xx
Sherlock is a precious boy!
Good job Sherlock!!
Don't worry, Sherlock, I have problems going down the steps, sometimes, myself. :)
He is such a sweet little guy!

Sherlock has really gotten big! And still teething… he has Jamba’s coloring

Well done Sherlock for handling the bottom two steps yourself

Keep up the good work Sherlock 😅

I did that with a long lead when my boy was getting old but still wanted to be independent.

Cool to see Sherlock growing so big! He’s fearless around the big Husky.
You’ll go down those stairs on your own eventually Sherlock!
Puppies and children need to know how to entertain themselves 😅

Hang in there, Sherlock. You’ll get there!
He seems to have grown quite a lot, and is much more confident than he was..
Adorable to see how well he is doing, and fearless with the big dog. Lovely to see ❤
Animals definitely know that they have to let the weaker playmate win once in a while to keep playing.
Yup. That’s and Android phone 😂
Where are you based? I would LOVE to adopt my next Cavi from you!
PS. Sherlock is gonna grow up to have such a handsome, square doll face !
We are in New York, on Long Island. Unfortunately, we have no immediate breeding plans.
