- Hi everyone,
In this week's video we start a new series called 'Northern Escapades'. We will be finding and exploring interesting/ fun things in the North of the UK and sharing our experiences.
We are starting with our trip to #chesterzoo. We arrived at 'rope drop' so waited near the elephants for the rest of the zoo to open. We had such a fun day seeing all the animals. Our highlights were the jaguar, seeing the new #snowleopard and the #giraffe . As you’ll see from the video we spent a lot of time with the giraffes haha
We had a lovely walk around The Islands, saw the slow boat ride but it didn’t seem to be open during our visit unfortunately. We also tried a swirl whip as we had heard it is basically a dole whip like at Walt Disney World.
We felt like we had timed it so well with so many animals out and about and also seeing some of the babies including the chimpanzee, orangutan and giraffe. We really loved our day here, it’s always one of our favourite days out!

The otters are so cute but Laura, your awwwwes are the highlight 😂❤. Oh my gosh! The wiggly nose guy is adorable 🥰. The giraffes are another fav 🦒. Such a cool zoo! Loved it!
Haha the goslings were one of the highlights and they weren't even part of the zoo 😂😂 the geese must enjoy all the different animals just like we do!
Honestly couldn't pick a fave, but the giraffes are up there, we must have about 30 mins of footage of just giraffes 😂

Woo hoo… rope dropping the zoo 👍🏻👍🏻. Chester Zoo looks very nice, well laid out and looks to have a great variety of animals. I loved seeing the Jaguar as I really think exotic cats are intriguing. One of my favorite animals are definitely giraffes. They have pretty coats and a graceful animal being as tall as they are. Glad you’ll had a fun day and thank you for showing us around. Cheers!!

Jaguar was definitely one of our favourites, along with the giraffe. We had to cut out a ton of giraffe footage and still was left with so much 😂 thanks for watching!

Always wanted to visit here. Great looking zoo. Aawh the chimp doing rollies 😍 those goslings were so cute but i felt like shouting "run" when they started coming towards you...geese scare me haha. That's amazing about the virgin dragon. Aawh sleepy snow leopards 😍 omg the otters!! My florrie is obsessed with otters, she'd have loved that. The flamingos 🤣🤣 wow, the jaguar was incredible. I wouldn't be able to eat that with the wooden spoon! Great video both xx
It’s pretty much our closest one I think which is why it’s pretty much the only one I’ve been to 😂 haha I didn’t know if we would survive the goose encounter haha we loved the day really felt like we saw more than expected! Thanks so much for watching 🤩💙 xx
