I own one and have done over 1000 kilometers in AUSTRALIA and LOVE it. Goes wher I want to go and I travel in comfort and I have done over 35 klm return. Takes about 6 to 7 hours to fully charge. I put 28lb air in the tyres and the book says 26lb.
Good unit but,,, speed limited in Aus to just under 10kph and given that I need to drive it on a rural highway, that's not really safe. It has the capacity to di 17kph like my older Afi Sportster so I'll be looking to fix that in my own self defence. Also there are a couple of problems. There is no battery capacity meter. So it's not really possible to tell when you need to recharge. I think you are supposed to balance thre odometer reading against voltmeter reading but that's not really much help. And the forward reverse switch is on the dah, not the handlebar which makes tight manoeuvring triky and awkward - as when boarding a train. Strange design decisions, probably made by someone who does not use one everyday like me. The high weight also reduces the range so it's more eye candy than functional The larger 100aH batteries are a must.
