Finally a show in my neck of the woods! ...well sort of...2 hours away is "close" enough. Either way, this was quite the trip. While I always tend to have a lot of anxiety over shooting in downtown Chicago, I knew it was essential to make this a video to remember. So Sean and I spent an entire day driving around the city and shooting with a couple godzillas. What we didn't expect was one of the most intense thunderstorms of the year. At one point we thought we might get sucked up into a tornado; but, luckily, the storm passed, and we were able to film another day. As for the show, I can say from personal experience, this was THE BEST show I've been to in the area. Slammedenuff have been trying to expand to the upper midwest for years now, and this was a fantastic execution. If you've been considering attending a Slammedenuff show, but it's just been too far away from your home in a northern state, this is the one for you!

Thanks! I primarily used my sigma art 24-70 f/2.8 lens as well as a vintage canon 55mm f/1.2 and vintage 135mm f/2.8 for some of the handheld and establishing shots
I loved some of those awesome super zoomed in shots
At 2:34, may I ask what ISO setting you are using that prevents the GTR headlights/leds from giving off the "flickering" effect??? Many thanks!! 🙏🙏
So iso isn’t going to affect flickering because it only changes sensitivity of the pixels. Frame rate and shutter speed are what can cause flickering. For this I was using 24fps and a shutter speed of 1/50, and frankly just got lucky to not have any flickering
