Out of interest, what of this era (so around late 80s) would have been the most popular where you are?
@OGCars Ford Escort/Cortina, vw golf, opel kadette Toyota Corolla Renault 12. Datsun 120y a neighbour had a hillman hunter which felt like a tank. There was no mot and cars were driven to death 🙄
