So wonderful to see! Paul Simon is one of the few people who could get Don Everly out of retirement. Thanks Paul!!!
OMG he looks so wonderful. Don, oh Don Everly. Crush all over again. That music is in my heart since 1958,
wow. such a treat. Don Everly will never grow old. His voice is pure and beautiful, and much appreciated.
Phil Everly MADE the Everly Brothers with is Sweeeeeeet harmony.
Ja, das ist richtig. Don hatte den idealen Part zu Phil. Lass sie uns together brillant, sehen. Nicht separat. Love is together strong 😊
@aviben50 I went to a Simon & Garfunkle concert in 06 and guess who they brought on stage ? The Everly Brothers. The Brothers played most of their hits then during the encore all four played together on stage. Man.....I thought had I died and gone to heaven.
God bless you, you mad lots people happy around the world, world of music never would be the same without everly brother you had heavenly voice.
Don Everly was so tremendously TALENTED. Great Voice, Great Songwriter, Great rhythm guitarist. He always oozed of total confidence.
RIP Don Everly, thank you for the great music
Wow oh Wow! Thank You, Paul, for bringing Don out!
WOW! Great to see Don singing this great song.
It put tears in my eyes. Thank you for posting this.
This is just amazing footage and a super performance! Thank you DailyVinylLIVE for posting and a special thank you to Mary and Peter for sharing this with me!
Loved seeing Don Everly.
That was so very beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
A fact often overlooked because of the singing, Don Everly is an outstanding rhythm guitar player.
Yes 100%
This was really great…great to see Don looking great and singing wonderfully, always, always adored his voice.
My heart aches for him--I know he and his brother had their issues but I'd venture to guess he's hurting right now. God Bless you Don-- you and Phil were pretty awesome
Great song and version....
Awesome!! Thanks for posting this!
I feel very sad and thankful at the same time when I watch something like this. Sad because a wonderful era is coming to an end but vey very thankful and grateful for their beautiful music that people will treasure forever. This of course includes their solo albums most of them in my opinion warranted much more attention from the powers that be than they received, especially PHIL Everly's self titled album and Don Everly's Brother Juke Box. Last but absolutely not least to all you great people who keep putting these beautiful clips on You Tube, Thankyou!!!! Addit: just turned on my TV here in Australia they are showing a repeat of The Last Night Of The Proms from Royal Albert Hall and all I can see are Don and PHIL coming down those stairs. 💓💓 🎸
Yeah, this song is done by Simon and Garfunkel on an earlier album and they did it wonderful. Love it.
Don is like 74 in this clip (76 now) wow...
That was great! RIP Phil
Love Don Everly...great post, thanks for this.
Only Angels have wings especially when a bell rings but heaven can't wait to hear how Phil Everly sings.
We'll hear Phil again, when we all get up there too.
Love it just as much of not more than the first time I watched Donald and Paul Simon ❤️❤️🎸
THANKS ... good to see THE DON again :>)
Wonderful. More please
Don, always, ever. They're not far from me. I pray the Brothers perform even one more time..... : )
this is great. Thank you!
A sweet caress ❤
I enjoyed the post!

increible !
I dare you not to feel a tug of emotion at hearing this rendition of " Kentucky" by the Everly Brothers... Don & Phil.
czcams.com/video/tKUIlVsMM-o/video.html. ("Kentucky")
Above - is a very beautiful rendition, and the defining one, of a 1941 country song: "Kentucky". The Everly's birth home. They lived in Chicago then raised in Iowa before ending up in Nashville...which would catapult them into music history. This song is rarely heard in their repertoire because it is too regional, perhaps too country in its roots. ...but this song is sooooo beautiful esp. when sung by The Bothers )
Gods the lucky one rip to a musical legend
Don is still alive... Phil passed away
UBass! (Hard to believe such a big sound can come out of such a small instrument!)
What I think is really interesting is that some of Phil and Don's greatest songs were written by a couple Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, Bye Bye Love and their most well known song, Wake Up Little Susie, plus Bird Dog, All I Have to Do is Dream and Devoted to You.
So Cool!
Now how about Paul Simon getting the EBs back together for a reunion tour and TV special -- LONG OVERDUE! Kick it off with an appearance on "Letterman" with Paul Shaffer's band and Albert Lee!
man u so lucky,
Paul Simon is a great talent, but the harmony could never be the same because Don and Phil had identical timbers to their voices, so they sounded like one voice singing both parts..,lead and harmony, That can't be expected of 2 people who are not siblings. Still good though.
Paul and art are good also...
@@greekfreek4657 Amen they were a close second to the brothers!
sad sad sad....
crowd drowning out the performers...on the chorus...
Paul ist der viel kreativere von Simon und Karfunlel.
I love this song but I don't know why anyone would want to try and fill in for a brother. The timing and sound are suffering.
