Eurovision is my passion. Eurovision was my work and I am still gladly part of the professional community of this project. I started at Eurovision 2016 as Czech Head of Delegation. Such a Eurovision story! Form Eurovision in Sweden I went to antoher ESC experience. Kiiv 2017 Eurovision. This was my first and last failiur. Sometimes you need to learn trough losing even it is not plasant. We ended up 13 in the semifinal, second best score of Eurovision Czechia back then. But after this we established ESCZ national selection format. It was mostly held online. Because of this we found Mikolas Josef who went 6th at Eurovision 2018 in Portugal. Than 11th with Lake Malawi, at Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Eurovision story is crazy. After finding all candidates and songs (-1) for ESCZ 2020 I resigned and left the television for working freelance.
Not to stop being part of Eurovision, I created this channel as I have an urge not to do just Eurovision Reactions from a different perspective. But also to do national selection reactions, watch others how they do their craft and also give a different approach for Eurovision fans.
I am very glad was part of many eurovision juries. Mostly in national selection and since 2017 I was in MGP Norway, Eurovision Malta, UMK national selection Finland. Juror in Melodifestivalen 2016. Biggest national selection. Also helped Eurovision Ireland, Eurovision Estonia, Eurovision Azerbaijan and many others.

I agree, the lights were off-beat, which was annoying. I am not an expert and still, it was clear to me that lights and camera cuts are offbeat. Also, too many too-wide shots. But Jan you are mistaken if you think RTS was much invested in the performance. If they actually sent someone to help with the staging, with the delegation, that would be a different thing, but they never did. Maybe you didn't notice, but every year Serbia sends the same staging chosen in NF. Poor artists have to come up with all of that on their own, or if they have a team then their team will help them with staging. They even have to pay for their stagings at NF
hmm, but the idea was initially good from NF, just the execution not perfect. So actually if this is an issue it still means that Eurovision team did an amazing job for them. Yet not perfect.
@@JanBors That's just it, my issue with all of this: the ESC crew should be able to do this perfectly. The Esc was in Sweden for God's sake. This is not complicated, the RTS crew managed to film it perfectly 2 months ago
they do what director of delegation or whoever responsible tells them what they want. This was probably ok for everyone like this. Crew has another 36 acts to go (this is over 100 minutes of life edit and lightning, crazy job). So if you dont know what you want or if you are satisfied, case closed. Thats why its important that each act has a director
@@JanBors That's not true as Luke Black and the Serbian delegation tried to solve his microphone and sound issues last year, and they weren't given help at all. Then the mix for his song was really bad. Those who compared it to the NF said the NF was much better. And one person concluded it was either un-professionalism or sabotage.
@@belosevickris3379 They did awful with Luke Black last year. Everyone remarked about how much better the national final was.
Nothing worked here tbh, Teya is amazing and the song was probably one of 3 best songs this year but the staging left me kind of "meh". Serbia needs to seriously start reconsidering its approach to staging (apart from Konstrakta of course)

The staging sucked. I hated it so much that I thought (including a lot of people) it wouldn’t qualify🤣Teya said it was gonna be big and some people thought it would’ve been something similar to Bulgaria 2021. The lighting, the rock, and the camera angles were all badly mishandled
it was on a good way with some more detail work... it would have worked better

Yeah. Also, I found the wardrobe a bit too 2000s messy. I was hoping for something like Loreens costume or something more ethnic

Also the song imo should have been revamped. I wouldve shortened the beginning a little bit and give more time for the finale. It finished abruptly
They shot themselves in the foot, they almost went out in the semi-finals, they were lucky that Moldova, Poland, Azerbaijan chose wrong songs. Now it's obvious to everyone that they should have sent Breskvica, she's bombing all the charts in Serbia right now and has endless with views on yt and this Teya is basically nowhere, the song is already forgotten 👍👍 👍
well, I dont care, I was commenting the staging not a song in this video 😂
