today i got my mage cape! after like 20hours of trying to kill/learn, fells so amazing!
You can vuln bomb zuk while he's on his throne by manually clicking throw bomb roughly past the base of his feet (if you throw it too far close to him you will get a notification saying you cannot throw here). Hope it helps :)

For those who are struggling with the fire at Zuk:
- Use anticipate once Zuk gets immune, you will be able to start running sooner
- The first minion always spawns at the opposite side of the room, one section to the left
- Stand only a tile or 2 away from Zuk (for the first two minions), there is no need to surge/bd. You only have to walk about 4 tiles in this case, while there is time to walk like 10 or so

A really simple way to get past the first DPS check challenge is to place a dummy in the middle of the challenge circle. Then when the minions spawn equip a caroming 4 switch and greater chain. This should tag every minion and then switch to your highest damaging mage weapon and use omni on the dummy. It will kill all the minions in nm and in hm lowers them all to about 1-2k hp.

Just to add on the zuk burning floor part. You can anticipate just before the mechanic starts so you're free to move whilst he starts it. I stand right next him so don't have to move to the non burning segment which helps if Devo is down
Super useful stuff, that +10% is actually great to just speed up kills in general or farming lower waves :) you get so much tokkul back it's a net positive
Anticipate when Zuk calls the fire, that way when you get pulled you can start running in the opposite direction where the melee-er is going to spawn (usually spawns opposite direction from where you are pulled)
The fire arena is 8 sections, the first minion spawn is guaranteed to be directly across and to the left 1 from where you're stunned
For pizza phase remember to freedom the start or anticipate just before it if you're good.
Then walk under Zuk. So much shorter distance to get to where you need and you don't even need a surge!
Awesome tips n tricks Init Yeah; I wanna add something that's highly unrated and most people do not even know about these items. Reward/Damage enhancers, there are damage enhancers for volcanic tzhaar creatures and it's a 10% damage boost. The enhancers have a certain amount of charges as well. Hope this helps.

Just a tip Init, that 15k tokkul upgrade can be stacked. you can get 1 hour on it not just 20 mins! Hope this helps with any future content.
That healing while he's immune thing is GOLD, assuming it isn't changed in a patch, that may make/break my ability to do this.
It happens with a lot of bosses, you can heal on arch glacor while he's immune and arms aren't down, also kerapac while he's being phased.
It won't be patched, it's possible literally anywhere you can attack but deal 0 damage :)

I remember the zo ring plus swapping to my best dps armor for the zuk dps check phase was what finally pushed me through it.

I wish you would do a slowed down fight with zuk at the end and show exactly which abilities to use and WHEN to use them, like freedom, devo ect and when to use super restores ect. would help alot, can get through wave 1=17 with no food used but die at zuk everytime bc idk which abilities to use ,
first hit = Freedom, 3 autos, surge/BD (if you have double surge it's great, just surge through him, turn around and surge again), 3 autos, Click minion, surge to it, 2nd minion click minion and surge to it, 3rd minion click and surge to it. Repeat until he's dead.
@@davidgibson2284 how many flames do you normally see per zuk kill? Seems very possible to only see one, but I’m getting 2 per attempt usually
@@Nathan-uo9yf I usually 2 cycle him, so 2 of each wave. 1 is possible but you have to be in your A game with good rotations and gear. A friend of mine 1 cycles using the very end game ranged setup, But honestly I think as long as you get the kill and comfortable with it, 1 cycling isn’t a necessity.
@@davidgibson2284 forgot the surge after power of earth quake slame and the begone/die/empowered by ful soft typeless attack before minions lol.
But ya his rotation is really simple, sort of like telos.
@@wowsparta ah yeah, I’ll be real, I just eat through the typeless attack and run from quakes, the last time I surged for quakes I had 3 spawn right on top of me lol
How does full obsidian armor + the tokkul-zo weigh up to the gear you're wearing? I could afford cryptbloom if I wanted to, for sure, but don't know which would be better for a learner mainly wanting to start by getting their BIS capes.
For normal mode I'd recommend just wearing power gear. Even in hard mode, damage reduction is not at all needed. Use your safespots, use blood spells as your 4t choice or even onyx bolts if you're ranging, and hp will be abundant.
If you melee, then obsidian armour is great but you'll still need power armor (+perks) to meet some dps checks. If you mage with Animate Dead, only use the obsidian mage helm as the rest of the obsidian armor is considered Hybrid and not Tank (the helm + donating tokkul results in 19% damage reduction from 1 piece of armor).

Omg bro I fucking love you I swear Ive watched like 3 or 4 guides on this and my dumbass were using the tokkul zo uncharged cuz I didnt know it needed charges and Im so blind I didnt notice it says (uncharged) and the only part I struggle is at the pizza phase so from now on Im def using my reavers ring or the channeler ring

Vulnerability bombs DO work, you just have to throw them near his feet. there's 2 squares where you are allowed to throw the bomb, where it will still hit zuk.

Idk if I should just farm 4th wave or spend my 40m for invention. I’m 77smith 75craffing 65 divi. Any advice I got ascenos and Sirenic armour normal not elite.
Getting invention doesn't give a lot of immediate payoff, takes a while to level and takes a while and a lot of money to get the Perks.
Farm that 4th wave and enjoy life who knows you might get the ability codex (:
How would you compare a flawless nm run with other bosses? The hardest boss I've done apart from a flawless run (with ranged) was nm Kerapac or some low enrage ice telos.
It’s similar to the elite dungeons final bosses, probably most similar ambassador in terms of mechanics that can kill you quickly, and kind of similar to seiryu in that you have a couple DPS checks during the fight.
Other then 500% telos zuk hardest in the game I think maybe tied with raksha
@@kingmontana5847 nah raksha is harder than zuk, especially hm zuk. If you are having problems with the whole thing use mage and use 2-3 pieces of magic tank gear, cryptbloom preferably

@@PercivalKing I've been using Superior Seasinger, so that works if you got it. I think you can get some mileage from Ganodermic as well. I'd highly recommend using the Obsidian Mage Helm is any of those situations as it's tank armor, gives 9% damage reduction, 10% accuracy bonus, and an extra 10% damage reduction if you donate tokkul.

I’m trying this on mobile but I cannot get the Dps checks. It’s extremely hard to do your rotations. I’m failing the Dps checks and I have fsoa
sheesh that thing about soul splitting on the immune Zuk is amazing i didn't know that. with a blessed flask, you basically have near unlimited healing throughout the fight?

Im struggling with the minions phase fighting zuk, what abilities should I use? I'm not killing the minions in time :c I'm using magic
What i normall do is impact first minion and aspyx, then corruption shot and combust walked. Usually that enough to kill it for me(its overkill for sure but id rather make id ded ded)
Second minion i wild magic, deep impact, wrack, bleed
Third i incite fear tsunami, tendril to build up adren to hit zuk with a sunshine

Without soulsplit also works. Build adren on zuk, and then regenerate

What I have noticed in HM when trying this, is if you take too long to use the button, he spawns more minions :(
Normally wait for the defenders to spawn the extra button to insta kill them and focus on zuk.
But ya HM has an extra spawn at all challenge waves so you cant really do the prepare to take him part
Leave one minion stuck somewhere like get one of the melee ones stuck

Nah its not a bug it's just something that has always worked at any target that is "immune" :)

missed chance to title the video "tips to not Zuk at this boss" although may sound misleading, but still xD
Zuk can be done easily with animate dead and vamp aura. Add in penance powder and you won't touch restores until zuk himself. If you aren't "good" at pvm I suggest tank armor and animate dead. I also highly suggest having greater chain with Caro 4.
Double surge is enough for the fire pizza if you do it rught.
