What also really touches down on me is how in this performance, his band mates as brothers we're & still are behind him all the way...to make it thru each emotions in every vocal expression of all the words strung together as one. They all gave their utmost to this message Eddie was needin to transcend & carried well.
Eddie Vedder has a very unique amazing voice that has a remarkable edginess too it!! This was an incredible group with a dedicated following!!!! You were really into this song Sarah. The crazy thing is Eddie is pretty sick in this video he had bronchitis I believe and had to push himself to sing so imagine how it would sound if he wasn't sick!!! It sounds great but you can hear his congestion if you're used to hearing him...love your reaction❤
Yes, he skipped the line all she gave me was all she wore. He realized that, and opened his eyes and shook his head. Also, he blew the chorus intro after 1st verse, skipping to the words to the 2nd chorus intro. In his defense he was suffering a terrible head and chest cold and felt like death for this performance, and even with the mistakes this is considered one of his best performances of the song.
