He got the nanny pregnant because the future him did not enter his body yet. The soul in his body is that of his past, immature self so I’m not surprised. Future Eddie only went back in time to his body after Luna New Year.
Uh doesn't make much sense. If he knew the truth about the other girl then why was he still trying to be with her the second time around?
I think they implied that he awoke as a reborn person after he was able to escape from Leukemia the first time. He distanced himself away from Laura at that point and didn't chase after her when she skipped town.
