    Thank you both, really interesting.
    Have been walking around with a tear in my right meniscus for 1,5 years. Just have been operated on that leg. Have some pfps on my left leg now that started after a misstep a few months ago. MRI came back good so that's nice, think I might just have some lateral muscles/bands on my left that are too tight because of my limping when my meniscus was still torn. Also have some lateral tracking. This video made a lot clear for me about my knee. The exercises my physical therapist gave me make a lot more sense aswell. Hope I will be better soon!

    What can be done about bone bruising in the Trochlear Groove and Chondromalacia? The pain from these conditions is unbearable for me.

    Did anyone here actually heal Hoffa's Fat pad syndrome? Mine was caused by knee locking. I have stopped doing so, any other recommendations? She sells her course for 250 euros... which is absurd and unaffordable :/

      For any personal health or rehab questions we recommend to consult with our partners at yourphysio.online for a remote physiotherapy consultation.

      You might be able to self refer to NHS physiotherapy depending on where you live, or you might have to see your GP and get a referral. Probably going to have a long waiting list unless you go private though.

    • @TastefullyVikkie
      @TastefullyVikkie Před rokem

      I know your comment is old, but looking back, I would go private if possible for a consultation. The NHS recommended me tendinopathy exercises for my knees and I ended up with worse pain (patellofemoral arthritis) in my right knee. It took me going private to be assessed properly (im at 33:17... patellar alta) and an MRI scan booked. immediately.

    For the kinetic chain, are you talking about a single leg squat or double leg squat or a normal walking?

    • @suns3574
      @suns3574 Před 2 lety +2

      Kinetic chain refers to all muscles within that "chain" or group - and working them simultaneously with adequate co-ordination. That could be a double or single leg squat, or a step up/back/down what ever you want - the emphasis is that you're not working muscles in isolation and you're addressing compound movements.

    I am interested to know why Claire thinks a static wall squat is isometric?

    • @neles74
      @neles74 Před 2 lety

      Because you are (for the most part) not shortening or lengthening your muscle during the exercise right?

    no matter how great and vital it is to listen to the patient, when you have just 30 min appointment to assess and write down the notes, it is practically impossible to hear out every patient's full story
