Seeing this reminds me my school years, when one of the teacher said that Inquisition was not so bad and is nowadays demonized, the loss of lives and amounts torture were minimal, and Inquisition built hospitals, schools, orphanages etc. and seemed shocked when I compared Inquisition to totalitarian secret police. As person that consider himself a type that would have big chance to end up burned at stake (spiritualist heretic), I'm really not fond of attempts to excuse or humanize Inquisition (of course, such people have right to their options, but I have right to disagree with them as well), and I hope that spirits of all Inquisitors are periodically haunted by spirits of their victims in afterlife.
