- Let's paint our panther in tritonal German camo. Tamiya paints are perfect for this and I am sure that many of you are curious how their colors look on the model.
There is also shown the easy way to make handpainted markings on zimmerit.
It will be the easiest if you watch this episode and find out if it's a good solution. Enjoy!

Man you have a great channel more videos everyone please help and share Lucas's channel let's get him up there It's gonna be another night shift .
Thx a lot for this comment!!!
Truly detailed - you must have the patience of a saint!!!
Sometimes I would like to throw the model on the wall! :)
Love the camo pattern
Thx a lot mate! :)
“You can also drink something.. nice.” Your commentary never fails to make me laugh at some point. Today it was at the 6:30 mark. I also liked the brown camo “mistake” on the side of the turret. I think it ties together nicely with the hand-painted numbering. Another great video, Lukasz!
Brendan, when I prepare the story it is just natural for me to say something like this. So there will be more and was in previous episodes. But I am also sure that many watch movies at an accelerated pace and dont pay attention to what I say :)
Great video!
Thank you very much buddy! :)
I really like and prefer this method of painting. Freehand camo painting and hand painted numbers are more realistic in my opinion. The fact that they're not perfect adds so much more realism. Excellent job!
This is exactly what I wanted to show in this video. Thx!! :)
Fantastic job start to finish, top work😊😁👍
Thx Dave! :)
Great job on simulating wood!!!
Many thx! :)
Dzien dobry dude. My son and I love the channel. Without being patronising, your English is excellent and much better than our Polish :) Do widzenia - and no I didn't look these up :)
:):):) thank you very much! Im really happy that you are here!! :):):)
That turned out quite nice.
Thx Jose! :)
Great video - about to do the same on my kit, thanks for sharing, cheers Liam
Many thanks! :)
Great work!! Love the markings, you are really great at painting fine detail! 👍👍
Thx a lote mate!! :)👍👍
Great video and a beautiful result 👍
thx a lot!
Love to camo, field applied is always a nice touch!
Many thanks! :)
beautiful work my friend and original idea!!!
Thank you very much my friend! I do my best ! :)
I like it al lot. And with the bridge on the sides it makes a verry nice model. Also the damage on the gunmantlet looks cool. i cant wait to see the next video 👊👍
Im working on the next part. Stay tuned! :)
Fantastic work on the painting. Really like your humour too
Thx a lot Duke! NIce to see you like it! :)
I absolutely love your approach to a tricamo German camouflage. It’s the absolute same I’ve done and said. Think how it would have been done in the field application.
Thank you very much mate! :)
Great video my friend the painting came out great nice job on the damaged zimmerit the painted numbers look realistic really adds that nice touch keep up the great work and have a great new year 👍🙏
Thankl you my friend for your comment! I do my best! :)
I really appreciate your step by step and I am closely following your methods on a Panther D, I am working on. I think your approach is a very nice balance between an interesting finish, but also something that doesn't take 10,000 work hours to achieve.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talent.
Thank you very much for your comment! Good luck with your Panther D! :)
Always entertaining and educative, and always makes me chuckle big time. Please keep this approach. 🍻
Thx a lot! I I'm still doing my job :)
You as a professional show us you can make mistakes instead of everything has to be perfect i really like this about your
videos
The mistakes are made all the time - the point is to correct them or do something to change them into success!! :)
Nice work. 👍
Thx! :)
Nice job so far, looking forward to the weathering and final reveal. A couple of little tricks I want to use on my next project, so it's a big thumbs up from me. See you in the New Year. \cheers from the U.K.
Nick, thx a lot for your comment and thumb up! All the best in NYear! :)
Great video, man! Very interesting and realistic approach to field applied camo and markings, I will definitely try this!!! Can't wait to see the weathering!)
Happy New Year, wish you good health to you and your family and many awesome models to build!)
Сергей, thank you for your comment. Im preparing next movie! :)
Thank you, great video, I learned a lot so please keep up the great models 👍
Thank you very much mate!! :)
You are an amazing modeler, since i'm beginning my journey in this world (just finished building my first one, an ICM Königstiger), i've learned many useful tricks by watching your videos.
Stay awesome man. \m/
thx a lot for such a nice comment. hope my work will be still useful for you!!!
Brilliant! I hope your channel grows huge, you deserve it.
Thank you Graham! I hope so! :)
Greetings sir, that was absolutely outstanding, the paint finish was also excellent. I like your way of thinking regarding making the paint finish and markings look like field applied
and more than likely applied in a hurry. Have a safe and Happy New Year, bext regards from Australia
Hi Les, thx a lot for your weekly comment! :) 👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁
👌👌 jak zawsze petarda

Yep it works good and Im really pleased with it. Highly recommended. :)
Naprawdę fajnie Ci to wychodzi, bardzo fajne filmy, pozdrawiam i szczęśliwego nowego roku życzę.
Dzięki Marius, mam nadzieje, że suba dałeś? :) :) :)
Recently came across your youtube channel and was surprised and pleased with your approach to the hobby. Thank you for a refreshing and realistic outlook.
I wanted to know where you got the information on these bridges hanging on the sides of the Panther G. Please, if you will, enlighten myself (and others) as to source of this information and, as I have a limited intellect where it comes to languages (or for that matter, limited intellect), please if you could, sources in english, and, thank you again for the realistic approach.
Thanks for your comment.
I have information about bridges from the owner of the PanzerArt company who is the producer of this add-on. Its source is Bundesarchive. The drawings that I have seen but unfortunately cannot show, clearly show that this was the use of the mysterious grips visible on some vehicles. For more information, see the Panzerart facebook page. :)
Fantastic work! Very convincing. 👍👍👍👍
From what I've observed in period photographs, no camo pattern, unit ID marks and numbering was not perfect and was occasionally, hastily applied in the field by the crews. I've seen photographs where the number on the turret was changed and the older faded numbers were showing underneath. Have also seen this on some Allied tanks and vehicles as well.
yep. the references are the best idea source. :)
Świetna pantera.
Dziękuję! Oglądaj dalej bo jeszcze kilka odcinków będzie! :)
Genialne
Dziękuję! :)
Nice instructive video! Thanks!
What solution do you use to clean up your brush after using the Mr. Metal Primer?
Thx a lot! I used Total Cleaner from Modellers World.
I like it
thx!
The only time markings were even close to perfect would be just as it left the factory. A vehicle that has been in the field has been painted multiple times. Almost always by hand. If a crew was innovative and had the time, they might make some crude stencils. But, most often; they didn't have the time. On top of that, the Germans delivered the paint unmixed. It was up to the crew to dilute it with what ever they had at hand. Late in the war, it was often water; or they simply left it just primed. Very realistic look you achieved.
Thank you very much Stephen for your comment!!!!
Tip top greatings from Danmark
Thx and cheers mate!!
@@coldemonspl 👍
Totally agree withy you 100% crews usually painted camos themselves usually with a brush, theres reports from surviving crews who even painted them with a broom and even mops, even heard a Panther commander who said paint was even splashed on right out of a bucket or whatever they got to mix paint they had or even found.. so the camos were not identical ,perfect or precise on ANY tank in German army..
I'm on the right way :) Thx for your comment Russel!! :)
Hi. I loved the video. What size of needle did you use here? 0.5mm or 0.3 mm? Thank you.
Thank you. I use 0,3mm needle. :)
awesome job! how did u get the zimmerit so perfect?! I'm doing a mid tiger I atm and it's the first model I've done in nearly 30 years and it has to have zimmerit applied with putty. i managed to get it done using the tiny zimmerit trowel that came in the box but ut wasn't easy and doesn't look anything near as good as yours lol
The kit came with the zimmerit molded on if you look at his building video
Well this one is ready made with the kit. Takom did super job in good money. Just take a look at my open the box where I show it closer. :)
Great work! What thinning ratio and air pressure did you use when doing the free hand camo? Mine always ends up splattering everywhere.
Well, I mix for milk consistency with no accurate drop amount. And the pressure is about 3,5. :)
@@coldemonspl ohhh thank you very much!I’ll try it out on my next model. I build 1/72 scale so I guess the mistakes on the camo are more obvious in that scale.
@@martinlardizabal7358 No problem. In 1/72 is much harder to make this kind of camo. Good luck!! :)
The small damage is to the air intake grills that you did during the tank build 🤞
yes. thx! :)
What ratio do you thin the paint to do the thin lines and at what psi
I do it in different ratio - just to have milk consistency, pressure 3,5.
One of the towing hooks on the front of the hull appears to be missing - damage?
I think it isn't missing. :)
What ratio do you use for thinning the paint? Air pressure? Needle size? I have been having trouble achieving thin lines.
Ratio - just to have milk consistency, air pressure - 4 bar, needle - 0,3mm
@coldemonspl,how do you like that airbrush
Well, it works very good for me. No problem at all. Recommended!
Jakie rozcieńczenie farby do cienkich linii, jakie ciśnienie i dysza?
Unikasz kalkomanii a łatwiej by było namalować ;)
Hej jakie rozcieńczenie farby bazowej i ciśnienie?
hej, rozciewńczenie na oko, ciśnienie 3,5.
fender underneath the cleaning rods
No my friend. Look for damage which was made by uncareful touching of the model by me during the building! :)
Small damage is the shell hit to the mantlet
No my friend! :)
what paint number did you use as the first cote
Im sure all paint numbers are written in the video. Please check it out. :)
@@coldemonspl oh ye i mised that thanks :)
The handle above the loaders hatch is broke.
no mate :)
Cześć
hej!
Damage to screens
These are not screens. :)
Why does he kinda sound like an adult older and drunken night shift.
:)
I don’t like it. Your work is awesome but that red brown is awful
Thx a lot mate for your comment!! :) I had mixed feelings wioth this brown but in general look it's OK. :)
