- On November 10, 2022, a fire-rescue exercise was held at the Lek factory in Mengeš, which included rescuing a trapped person, an accident with a hazardous substance and extinguishing a fire inside the industrial plant. Firefighters from CZR(Protection and rescue center) Domžale, VFD Mengeš, VFD Topole, VFD Loka pri Mengšu, VFD Kamnik, VFD Jarše-Rodica and VFD Homec participated in the exercise.
