I think it's important to show you the viewer the places I stayed whilst out in Malawi. It will give you an insight on what you could expect when or if you ever visit Malawi.
We spent our first part of the trip staying at Cool Runnings. Words can't describe how relaxing this place is. Amazing food! Great hospitality! Great People. If you're ever in the area you must stay here! You won't regret it.

COOL RUNNINGS is a relaxed and friendly guesthouse in the heart of the vibrant fishing village of Senga Bay.
COOL RUNNINGS is run and owned by Samantha Ludick who has been involved in Senga Bay since 2003. 45% of COOL RUNNINGS profits go directly into the community through a number of projects run by Samantha, ranging from Soccer to Healthcare, from Education to Agriculture. COOL RUNNINGS also offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for anyone who wishes to prolong their stay in Senga Bay and get involved with COOL PROJECTS. We look forward to welcoming you to COOL RUNNINGS and the lake.

COOL RUNNINGS offers a range of accommodation options and leisure activites.
EN-SUITE ROOMS (2 BEDS)- $35/ROOM
DORM ROOMS (2 BEDS)- $10/PERSON
CARAVAN (DOUBLE BED)- $12/PERSON
COOL TENT (4 BEDS)- $8/PERSON
CAMPING- $5/PERSON
**Note: Please make any reservations via phone or email as facebook is monitored by project volunteers who do not organize bookings.
COOL RUNNINGS has warm showers and flushing toilets.
BAD NEWS, the COOL RUNNINGS boat, is available for hire under our fully qualified skipper, Magic. You can enjoy water-skiing, banana tubing, kneeboarding and the deadly sling-shot! For those who want something a little more chilled out, there is a catamaran for hire, as well as canoes and kayaks. You can also enjoy trips to local attractions such as Lizard Island and Cape Maclear at bargain prices.
COOL RUNNINGS has DSTV and a fully stocked bar with a gorgeous view of the lake. There is also plenty of room for lounging lakeside or, of course, enjoying the waters of the lake itself.
