For anyone having insufficient permission errors right click on the RDR2 exe folder itself and go to properties then security and give yourself (users) all permissions (full control). For anyone having issues with crashing on startup, REPLACE the scripthookRDR2 V2 on the Nexusmods page with the one in the description of this video. The Nexusmods Scripthook V2 is ABANDONED and will crash you.

If default doesn’t open menu you installed incorrectly or have missing requirements
when i use Vulkan it wont let me start up my game, it said's that i'm missing something about DX12

did everything as instructed and have even watched old videos of yours that helped out with modding but unfortunately something is happening with my mods where they all load correctly but every time go near camp in chapter 2, it crashes my game and if by some chance it lets me into camp and i feel safe, it freezes completely when i go to sleep to pass the time in camp
could be a conflicting mod obviously but i'm not even sure which one would be conflicting which is frustrating but i'm honestly not sure what to do at this point

For me whenever i use the winRAR some files will not appear like in the vid? Does anyone else have similar problems?
Might be a dumb question as I'm pretty new to PC gaming, but couldn't you just use Nexus mods? Is there a reason you need to use Winrar?

After I Install the online content unlocker and go to open the mod manager UI it tells me "Error starting downloads watch dog. Please see the logfile for more information" Im computer illiterate so please help lol.

Does your script hook cause some of your missions to glitch out? It’s a select few missions that freezes because of that
Usually just restarting the game fixes it
So i have the lml folder currently sitting inside the correct game root file, online content blocker even installed to it. But the mod manager refuses to communicate with it, says its not existent. Currently looking for solutions online. Some seem to have an issue with the steam version??
Installed in wrong place w or your not selecting right folder when prompted

hello can you present the mod enhanced brawling and show to to install cuz there many files and its a little strange
The only thing you need to do is place the brawling mod files inside the red dead folder and that's you installed it hope this helps.

i'm trying to mod rdr2 for the first time, but i've heard from lots of people that you shouldn't save the game while the mods are active. i don't understand, like am i supposed to remove and put the mods each time i wanna play? also, you can't remove files while the game is on, if you're not supposed to save it with said mod files active. help 😭

Load order matters but for these two mods it doesn’t so you can choose anyone to download first. Btw, Whyem’s dlc has to be in the bottom of Lml mod manager.

Edit #2 it works not if you run in to this issue delete the mods and just re download them from each website and use the new ones

hi, i have a question, do all files that end with a ".ytd" needs to be in one stream folder? since some mods have their own stream folder in the lml folder.

Script Hook links are broken. The removing "s" in https doesn't work for me (using latest Waterfox). Using Edge doesn't work either (s or no s).

Update: Works using Chrome. Neither Waterfox, Firefox or Edge worked for me before.

I watched your video to a t plus someone else who did a tutorial too I have no idea why the mods aren’t working or what I’m doing wrong. Do the files need to be extracted if they are in a zip folder or that doesn’t matter?

The website has changed and looks nothing like yours. Whenever I click on download file it doesn’t give me a option to choose which version and it doesn’t download
