日本では1985年のフジテレビドラマ『ヤヌスの鏡』のOP主題歌として、歌手の椎名恵により「今夜はエンジェル」のタイトルでカバーされ広く知られるようになりました。元歌の「Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young」は「今夜が青春の意味するもの」という意で、1984年の米国映画『ストリート・オブ・ファイヤー（The Streets of Fire）』でヒロインの女性ロック歌手エレン（ダイアン・レイン）が歌う劇中歌として作られたものです。映画では歌手のホリー・シャーウッドがエレンのボーカルを吹き替えています。
