Wow! Jamie thank you so much for answer my questions in such a beast way haha! I did manage to get an interview at St Catz so yay! Though I feel i've got a lot of making up to do for my TSA. Sorry for seemingly dominating the video too. These answers were really helpful and helped to ease my nerves. Oh I'm also a guy, but that little detail is rather insignificant when I consider how helpful this video is :)

Thank you for this video - it's really helpful to get your ideas and opinions! How much of the interview is normally focused on things you mentioned in your personal statement or the essay you had to send to oxford? Also, what would you say is the best thing to do if you find yourself just not knowing something/understanding a question etc? Would you say that it's just best to be honest and say that you didn't quite understand the question etc? Thank you xxx

Is it a bad sign that I still didn't hear anything from oxford? They do still contact you even if they don't want you to come in for an interview right?

Yes, they will contact you regardless of the outcome. Unfortunately, you'll have to play the waiting game a little longer.

Hey Jamie great video! But I got a question..Sooo I got invited to an interview at LMH ( Oxford ) for chemistry. Since I'm from Germany and I'm just a little familiar with the british syllabus, I am a little worried. Do you think it would be a problem if I do not understand a certain mechanism or have some troubles with some scientific vocabulary?

I've got a Biological Natural Science interview and the only person applying to Oxbridge in my year group (from a scottish state school). I have no idea what to expect :( will it be a general biology kind of chat or will they give me like chemistry questions? Ahhh
