A football field is standard. 120 yards long, 53 1/2 yards wide - dimensions that have lasted since 1881. But today we are talking about the area surrounding the field of play - 15 more terrible NCAA Football Stadiums - FCS included

If you Division 2 and 3 stadiums looks at Perkins Field in UW-Whitewater
FivePoints Vids Gotta love my home town team in the thumbnail.
The Last stadium looks like a Bass Pro Shops
I need proof it works
If manscaped wasn’t made in the us I’d be uncomfortable
Ah nothing says a quality video than a middle aged man talking about shaving his nuts for the first couple minutes
"Grooming" his nuts.
Piqua Ohio!
"A frickin' cologne for his balls"
Hey, any attention is good attention. Got us to comment..... Now that's entertaining!!!
fixpacifica wtf
I swear this video just gives Alabama ideas for who to schedule their non-conference games against in the coming seasons.
TwoSt3pProductions I can already imagine saban getting film and strategizing for Jacksonville University
Envy is a hell of a drug
Rhodes68 I very much envy beating
Citadel
@@nate5859 Really? Doesn't seem to be that difficult.
Kinda weird when Alabama plays out-of-state FCS schools when it hasn't even played the FCS schools in-state. It's cool, I'd be scared of UNA and JSU too.
umass alum
can confirm that the tailgates get more attendance than the game
also it's a hockey school
Sure ain't a basketball school. Be Rowdy Rams!!!!
They should go back to FCS
Lmao I went to SFA (9:16) and our tailgates were always packed but nobody actually went into the games. They actually made a rule that tailgates had to be taken down by kickoff but made the games BYOB to encourage everyone to stick around and watch the game.
Watching these makes me want to go play NCAA football '14 and build a powerhouse team in these dumps :)
Same, but with 06. Unfortunately many of these small teams are either not in the game (such as literally any college team from Minnesota other than the U of M) or have generic stadiums.
I’m a UCF student. The bounce house feels so strange. It feels open despite being a full oval, and the rust is truly terrifying. We are in ORLANDO FLORIDA IT GETS KINDA HUMID. You’d think they would have prepared
2018-19 NATIONAL CHAMPS!
TEAM CLASSIC SONIC lol I’m not going that far. 2017, hell yeah, only undefeated team, I’ll take an asterisk. This year, nah
UCF is the easiest university to get accepted into in the entire state, they haven't thought of anything
I think the same guys who built Aloha Stadium built the "Bounce House." So I'm not surprised.
@@failtolawl that's false and you probably couldn't get accepted to broward community college
I like how Dayton combines drive-in movies and NCAA football. Also, thanks for distracting me from the 15 page paper I have due tomorrow
i live near welcome stadium XD
Bengalsfu is boss same here! XD I got to Flyer basketball games a lot
There's a DII stadium that's a purpose-built drive-in stadium. You can actually watch the game from your tailgate.
@@Trogdor390 that's really cool! I'd totally go to games there if that was in my town
@@Ghost4353 www.irs.gov
As a Eastern Michigan student, I thank you for adding Rynearson Stadium. Even that green box next to Rynerason is PARTLY EMPTY for all the basketball games hosted too.
It definitely lacks the character of Bowen Fieldhouse.
I was the play-by-play radio guy for Cal Poly football and basketball (1994-98) - and this series brought back some rough memories of places I had to endure a football game at. My first game was at Eastern Washington in the pre red turf days, and I was at Holt Arena way too many times.
nicest high school stadiums.
80% if that’s gonna be Texas😂 maybe 5% Pennsylvania and the rest random
@@farley7818 Pennsylvania is shit at high school football. Look up Massillon football in Ohio, they put 101 on the board against a Pennsylvania team.
Pinocchio Baller one team doesn’t dictate an entire state😂😂 I can speak for myself my team (Springfield) was ranked 13th in the STATE out of 875 for 3 years and even before that we were good
@@farley7818 I don't care. I was giving an example of one school. Just accept that Ohio is better than PA at high school football (and college)😂😂😂
Paul Brown Tiger Stadium - Massillon, OH. Birth place of football.
UMASS didn’t get kicked out of gillette... they played at gillette for a year because their stadium did not meet capacity requirements for a FBS school so they needed to add seating.
The Press Box at McGurik looks so weird right on top of the old looking seats lol
Retire from umping MLB games
A BANKED TRACK? What is this, NASCAR??
Actually banked tracks are super common in indoor track and field.
Winston Salem state has a fucking track
as a UCF student, thank you
It's about as half assed as their acceptance standards
failtolawl their acceptance rate is 48% which is the exact same as FSU.
I thought UCF was playing at the old Citrus Bowl stadium????
@@corymcdermott5096 They should, it would make sense
@@midnmusic2217 hell, I live in Lakeland, less than an hour away. I seriously thought they played there already. I feel damn stupid now! And with UCF's success recently, it seems a no-brainer. But yet, the Citrus Bowl is old, but it still gets updated as needed.
Best Division 2 Stadiums? Sounds lieka good idea
Half of the best stadiums in D2 will be schools from the MIAA.
@@aaronloehr4161 TRUTH!!!! Northwest Mo. St, Pitt St., UCM, Mo West immediately come to mind.
Mateo Cuellar Augustana university and Northwest Missouri State University have the best!!
D2 schools have crappy facilities. It’s usually the tiny D-3 schools that are state of the art. D-3 schools focus on academics, so their alumni are usually rich and give tons of money.
You had to do it to em...
KTO better come at you 😂😂
That Northern Michigan stadium looks like one of the them mega churches :(
gluesniffer2 i live in marquette where it is and it’s a literal sauna in there for football games
IT DO THAT LOLLLLL
But mega churches aren't made of wood. Since 2/3 of the members usually are CEOs, only the most pricey materials go into those Sunday morning country clubs.
Welcome stadium has a huge parking lot. Even they sell out the stadium and every attendee drives their own car the lot would still look empty
imbetterthan every1 the parking lot is really for Basketball since the Basketball arena is right next to it but still quite big for the fact that it’s Dayton
Northern Michigan Superior Dome is awesome. I suggest MANSCAPED buys the naming rights.
Even Ithaca and Ravenna have better stadiums than Rynearson. When D6 and 7 HS schools have better stadiums, EMU is a joke
kakarroto007 yeah the dome is sick
Heck, I went to MTU and think da Yooperdome is pretty cool.
It really hard to believe that some of them are college stadiums and not high school..
Outside of like the top 30 or 40 division 1 football teams, MOST college football teams dont have many fans or fundings to justify building nice stadiums.
Some of them are used for both HS and College. Bryce (SFA) is one of those. (And it rains a LOT in East Texas)
The Superior Dome is actually a great little stadium. Considering Marquette MI is one of the snowiest and coldest areas, watching football in doors when there is two feet of snow outside, it’s worth it!
Love the content keep it up 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Subbed. "We meet in the superior dome every Thursday " 🤣🤣💀
lol I’m so weak the north Alabama stadium is where my high school plays at
I graduated from UNA. As for the light poles in the way on the visitor's side, they were actually there before the stands were.
@@squiresam If they had put them behind the stands when they were building the new add on stands, they probably would have been in the middle of Royal Av . That would have been interesting LOL
Lol I mean braly stadium is literally my high schools stadium we just rent it out to UNA
Firecoleman22 no the fuck y’all don’t lol it’s the city of Florence’s stadium fuck boy. Oh and you’re welcome for the concession money, bitch ~Current UNA player
In the next 5 years UNA is gonna have a football stadium on campus!
2:56 I wish some big FBS schools had that much parking holy shit.
RIP Jacksonville Football, you will be forgotten
Tulsa is in the American Athletic Conference.
They're "in" it, but they don't really compete in most of their games. Kinda like Uconn and ECU
Dylan DiMaggio We definitely compete. Just can’t finish a game.
@@dylandimaggio3041 in basketball they have the 3rd most conference wins only below Cincinnati and smu. So they definitely compete in basketball. The last two years in football were bad but that was because they didn't have a QB. This year should be different.
I'll have you know, the catwalks in the Superior Dome only sway up to 10 feet side to side when you walk on them. I'd say that's pretty good for trees.
Being a division 2 football and track athlete I’d love to see ya do D-2 stadiums too, both best and worst!
i didnt know KTO went to sac state, cool!
*watched a whole tik tok ad and im in school rn so you better heart this comment*
I've gone to lots of events at San Jose State's stadium. For a long time it was a pretty nice stadium, but then the school stopped maintaining it and it started to rot.
I’m so glad UAB is building a nicer stadium downtown for football and soccer. Legion field is sketchy…
It hasn't always been.
Having played at Northern MI's stadium, it is actually really cool to play in. What you didn't talk about is the concrete a centimeter below the turf which is glorified carpet. Players actually wear shoes instead of cleats on the surface.
So sad for KTO ☹
Absolutely lol’d when SFA’s stadium came up😂 I’ve had tons of family and friends attend SFA and you can actually sit on the grassy hills instead of the concrete bleachers!
Zach Wilkins lol I like to sit on the grass hills at Sam Houston States field
Zach Wilkins I like their stadium better
So happy you made pt. 2
Best sponsor in a video I’ve ever seen
100%... they need to give this guy more money and I haven't even watched the video yet nor have I ever watched him lmao
Gotta be honest I actually like the superior dome. Like if the lighting and seating was better itd be a pretty cool place
Brian Williams I’ve played in the dome it’s actually alright the team is shot but a player went to the nfl
I played there for my high school football semifinals, and the 8 man teams play the finals there for the state. I never thought I’d see the dome on this list, it is honestly nice
Went to college there. Yes it's a sauna in august but by late September you're happy you're inside. Could use some renovations on the inside though. Love the dome!
@@sweatydiabetic6750 It's a hockey school. Of course the other sports suck. but their hockey team is consistently one of the best
Ah, my new favorite series. Thanks for uploading this after my first 2 exams.
Man I love these vids u need to make more about terrible stadiums
this series has given me a reason to go on. living.
5:26 don’t bring crips to this field :)
I high jumped 6'10" at the Simplot Games at Idaho State (1997?). We jumped off the.... astroturf :(
great video, these critiquing videos are great, you should do worst or best d2 and d3 stadiums
Dude, excellent job on the ad at the beginning. I was laughing out loud so hard! Then you hit it out of the shitty stadium once again! Nicely done!
You scared me at 4:03 😂
I love the Bounce House and I wouldn’t like it any other way than it already is.
Love your vids please keep making them
This is how u do a sponsor ad it had me interested without skipping it great job
What’s up another great video, I haven’t been this early since when I went to see The book of life in theaters, also 2:52 has to be the laziest and one of the worst stadium names ever, also 6:34 LOL Chris Mullin
"Laziest" is an understatement
It's also extremely contradictory because it's not very inviting
Way to go Dayton😒
Spectrum stadium is clearly on the spectrum
My buddy was watching this video and sent it to me and was like wtf 😂😂😂 I had no idea you actually made a video about our school
I've actually been to Dayton's stadium. The men's rooms have troughs instead of urinals, which should probably make it the alltime worst
As someone who makes a yearly pilgrimage to Indianapolis Motor Speedway, what’s so bad about pissing in troughs? 😂
The 3 High Schools in my town play every home game in Holt Arena! They love it! They pay like $5000 every year to do so!
So for the stadium in Dayton, OH, is there a chance that a missed FG can result in a smashed car windshield.
I attended University of Dayton...nope endzones are enclosed but highschoo bench seating Speaking of sponsorship " Manscaped', that place sucks major balls.
I knew you'd say Welcome Stadium
Shout-out from Dayton
It's not fun
Your descriptions on your channel are good, but great when I'm high.
Who else clicked this video immediately because there were red arrows and circles on the thumbnail?
Once again, you name one of the fields I am literally about to play in. I'm in SFA's locker room and its a shithole. You chose Rice and SFA as bad stadiums and both times you were spot on!
AMAZING LOL
@@FivePointsVids Like with KTO, if you ever have any questions on these fields and locker rooms just ask. I can tell you that their are high school stadiums where I play that are miles better than these stadiums. Actually that would be an interesting vid concept. HMU if you want some insight on Texas HS stadiums and college stadiums. I have lots of first person video in the locker rooms.
@@StrypeGD so now that it’s been 3 years wyd
2:17 well now SJSU is pretty good at football
All of that parking at the Dayton stadium is for the basketball team that is right next door🤷🏼♂️
Eastern Michigan’s stadium is getting a 20 million dollar renovation next year
@Matthew Kurowicki Hey it's not so bad could be a lot worse. It's just kinda bland except for the gray field
Davidson has a football team? Learn something new every day..
They put up 789 rushing yards in a game... AND LOST
www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/25237938/davidson-wildcats-rush-record-789-yards-loss-san-diego-toreros
I think they beat another team 90 something to 60 something lmaooo
Definitely do a part 3
Goated 🤙🏾🥶
Do the worst baseball stadiums
Jonathan oliver Oakland and the trop
@Rowdy Jr. anything that's no MLB
Tokyo Dome needs to be on that list if where talking non MLB
Oakland Colosseum is depressing.
Tropicana in St. Pete. List over. That is the shiftiest place I have ever watched a pro sporting event. It’s the fucking sunshine state and they make an INDOOR stadium for Baseball!!!! Plus the homeless in st Pete are aggressive. Except for the dude dressed as Santa.. he’s chill
The Superior Dome actually looks kind of cool
I like it too tbh
It is pretty cool inside of it
William Apple I have played in it
Sweaty Diabetic same
fun fact: The RCA Dome in Indianapolis had bleachers in their upper deck. Shitiness sometimes spills into the pro level.
LMFAO!!!! I freaking lost it for 10 minutes when you showed the diabeetus guy.
For part 3 you should include division 2 and division 3 schools
If there is a part 3 I’d love to hear your opinion on Kelly/Shorts Stadium home of the Central Michigan Chippewas
That was also on the short list but I don’t think it looked so terrible when i looked it up
FivePoints Vids it’s pretty bad. A big concrete mess built into the back side of a hill with an ugly building in one end zone and a scoreboard taken straight out of the 70s that’s barely big enough to see
@@jacobschumacher6987 When the Chips take the field, it looks like they are charging out from a strip mall.
I absolutely love the ad at the start
As an EMU student, I have to confess that I breathed a sigh of relief after the last video when you forgot our stadium.
Man. Michael Roos was a warrior in the NFL. I think his field is beautiful in red. #emotionalpleaformercy
Any day to make fun of ewoo's awful "stadium" is a good day. 🤣
I’m from Davidson and in my schools defense we are pretty good at basketball and no one here cares about our football team but I do agree with you about the visitor setting and pls stop picking on the small schools😣
Paul Smith I've lived in Concord all my life and never knew Davidson had a football team 😂 saw plenty of Steph Curry basketball there
As someone who goes to Indiana State and plays for the marching band this will be the most attention we get with this video and our stadium in our thumbnail
UCF student here,
I have been to every home game since 2019. They took care of the rust, and you have to admit it's a great environment. Not the greatest stadium, but it gets the job done
Screw the fields the sponsor part was the best
Mr.manbatman man if you trim down the bush, the tree will look bigger.
LOL. I can't believe the Jacksonville Dolphins "Stadium" made it. I was looking for it in Part 1.
This is hilarious!
As someone who has attended multiple games at Braly Stadium, I can say it has a good gameday atmosphere, but the lights being in the middle of the stands is absolutely ridiculous.
As a Tulsa resident, you’re not kidding about the close sidelines. Jenks and Union (two of the best HS football programs in Oklahoma) play a game to start the season every year at TU. I was in the Union marching band, and Jenks kids literally could throw anything they wanted at us because we were so close on the field.
Why would they throw stuff at such a great band
San Jose state actually has a nice stadium, its just empty all the time
I know right? Theres no drive for the team and everyone at campus is either too busy or just doesnt care about sports :/
You can always use levis stadium to host your football game.
Ryan Keit San Jose State tore out the East grandstand a couple of years ago and still haven’t rebuilt them. The few fans that do show up to games, have to sit on the same side of the field.
I’ll be going to SJSU in a couple years and I’m excited for the new renovations their putting in. And the football team is getting better 💪
YESSS, UMASS. Love it
The unsafe upper deck at Legion Field used to sway back and forth when at capacity when Alabama still played there.
4:57 When was our eagles in the FBS?!
Luv u five points
No homo
luv u 2 - same
The Dakota Dome? They renovated it recently, so it's not too bad anymore in the inside (minus the dungeon of a pool). But when I went to USD, that place sucked.
About Welcome Stadium, I actually did practice maneuverability in the parking lot 😂😂😂
i live in dayton, ohio and honestly that stadium makes our huge basketball arena look like a trump tower compared to the football stadium

It's been done already.
Literally, as a person from north Alabama, thought halfway through the video, "hmm, at least Braly's not on here."😂😂
I lived in Marquette, MI in the late 90s. My winter ritual was to run laps inside the Superior Dome (each lap was a 1/3 of a mile). My main memory is of the avalanches of snow sliding off the roof and freaking me out. I wonder if it still leaks.
Best and worse college basketball arenas?
I was in the Superior dome for my brothers graduation from Northern Michigan. It is somehow worse for graduation than it is for Football
The 2nd stadium (Welcome Stadium) man i started dying 😂😂😂😭😭💀
I looked at that thumbnail for a minute thinking, “Is that ISU?” Sure enough! 😂
I dont get why the students dont show up to these games even when the team is bad. My sophomore year at NC State we really really REALLY sucked and only won 3 games....but the student section was always full. I get that regular fans might not go to a San Jose State game, but you'd think the students would go
28-3
K. I said it. No one else needs to
Nc state games are fun, i went to one. Tons of hotties around, good tailgates.
San jose students are top worried about being politically correct and having a same sex relationship to go to football games
Same goes for Texas A&M. The 12th Man (the student section) shows up pretty much every week no matter how bad the team is because it's quite an experience. I don't really like (American) football anymore, but found myself showing up to Kyle Field just to take part in the yells and the atmosphere.
Kevin Robinson now we've won 9 games two years in a row. 😎 Doeren is the man.
What is it with Idaho and their domed stadiums/airplane hangers?
I always thought ISU's stadium was modeled after a potato cellar common to the area.
Northern Michigan stadium is not as bad as you think. Yes parts of it suck, but it is pretty cool to see at the same time.
Being from Dayton, I can say that people do take their drivers tests in the parking lot 😂
