For sure the government could pay the sport schools, because the workers received some penny from every pound. I worked not far from an athletic school in Munich, I ate sometimes at that school because it was cheaper. I don't know who pays the sport trainings, but there were more activities at the sport school in Minsk than in Munich. By the way, I don't like Olympic professional sport.

We didn't have much TV or any entertainment. We had to entertain ourselves. So many of us kids became musicians too. A time now when kids can't even read, write or do math.
