    Im addicted to conservation videos. But Baumgartners has spoiled me and broken me. I can hear his snarky narrations as I watch other people's restorations

    I am a straight girl and the lady in the painting captivated me like nothing before ,she is more than beautiful.

    I love how she explained the technical side of it. It was the first time I learned what kind of materials and substances they use for different steps of the restoration process. I've watched a lot of these videos lately and they don't usually say. She was able to make it technical but still interesting.

    This is wonderful! I've been investigating this topic, now, for several months and thinking about seriously giving up everything here in the States to venture to Italy to train. With my background in art, I've ALWAYS wanted to do this!

    Brilliant demo love the Italian accent I wish I could speak Italian as good as this young beautiful lady speaks English. It would be great to be able to be professional art restorer. But I feel I best leave it to the experts. It is far more complicated than what I envisaged.

    • @serenity6415

      She's doing great to be speaking a second language having to use such complex and technical words. I only missed a word or two. I admire her being able to do so. I'm very self-conscious speaking other languages that I'm learning.

    Animal glue use is unethical and outdated. I'm aware that synthetic glues tested for restoration already exist. Maybe plant based glues also exist?

    • @CustardBustard
      @CustardBustard Před 8 lety +4

      +DMTbliss NewWay It would be unethical if animals were killed just for that purpose, but do you know for sure if this is the case?

    • @sauroman1
      @sauroman1 Před 8 lety

      +CustardBastard Some still choose to use gelatine and skin glue for consolidation what is case in Lithuania. In more west countries glues such as Lascaux and BEVA are used instead already.

      sorri eva u seem like a very nice person. but many here in us really are too picky. only in america is this. they watch toomuch hollywood crap films with shallow actors based on looks only. i dont think im chopped liver prob im in the wrong country

    • @alexbatter8109
      @alexbatter8109 Před 6 lety +3

      What country are you from Chopin? I ask because I want to know how Americans are portrayed by other nationalities. Is that a stereotype we have? There's plenty of good people in this world, even though it may seem like we are constantly surrounded by ignorant people such as the feminists you mentioned. Living in America, these feminists you speak of are EXTREMELY annoying most of the time. You can't say or do anything here without someone getting their feelings hurt.

    • @robfryderykchopin8505
      @robfryderykchopin8505 Před 6 lety +2

      im form southern europe originally. the feminists in america ruin it for all people! usually these are liberals and their simp boyfriends.(look up simp). cant even say a nice word to them without being labeled male chauvinist. they have an inner hatred of men or anything masculine. thats why many men are going MGTOW. google it. peace
