I just discovered your account a few months ago, and when I saw your video in here I was shocked by how much you've changed! But in a good way. You seem much more comfortable with yourself now, not holding yourself back and making yourself more 'palatable' as it were. This is so nice! I've been thinking about making booktube content, but I've been so scared because everyone I watch has such wonderful videos....I never really thought I could do it, but looking at where everyone started is giving me confidence that I can do it too

You can do it!!!!! I always thought the same thing, I am the most shy person ever and have such a hard time sometimes forming my thoughts into words. But you really do get so much better at it the more you do it and also the book community is so incredibly supportive ❤️
This was so wholesome and nostalgic 🥰 I hid my first videos at some point because I couldn't stand the cringe but eventually made all of them public again, and now I'd like to think about it in the way that we were all brave for putting ourselves out there instead of being embarrassed about something that isn't even that bad 😂

As a small BookTuber, I gotta say thank you for asking for recs of us. That got me in the feels. They're all friends of mine and I love their content!

Someone may have answered this already, but person on that poster is Alexander Rybak. He's the Norwegian singer that sings Into A Fantasy on the HTTYD2 soundtrack and also, iirc, I think he's the VA for Hiccup in the Norwegian translation (could be wrong about that last one.).

Ahahaha my first videos were SO BAD! I had a little tripod balanced on top of a laundry basket on top of my bed with an old iPhone. But I wanted to try it and see if I liked it without spending any money, and I still am happy that I went that route. Starting and knowing the beginning is going to be terrible but you’re going to get better, it’s underrated. ♥️♥️♥️

Such perfect timing! I’ve been looking to start my own Booktube channel. 😅 And it all started with your Goosebumps review - I’ve never even read Goosebumps, but I’ve watched the entire episode probably a dozen times! Since then I’ve watched so many different Booktubers, but when I need a friendly voice to play in the background while working in my classroom or cleaning the house your videos are where I turn.
Watching this has given me some inspiration for videos of my own moving forward. I have three videos up right now & this is inspirational.

Awwwww baby Booktubers 💕!!! Seeing the trends change was so fun, but I LOVED seeing how everyone started…some people were a bit shy and warmed up with time, some changed styles a lot, and others were absolutely unapologetically totally themselves from the second that camera turned on, wow! And your commentary was so thoughtful-it would have been so easy for it to have sounded repetitive, but we got little tidbits and stories, and when you weren’t being a total cheerleader you sounded like a Hollywood film director! I found some creators I want to check out and loved seeing the ones I already love and watch-I’m SO glad you’re doing a part 2, this was super heartwarming and wholesome! (And glamour Barbie G made me do a TRIPLE check, whoa! But you were so mean to yourself, baby Gavin was adorable and the part about the lamp between your legs for your video make me laugh sooo much, lighting is HARD😂) Editing to add: Can you do Peruse Project, Jodie (formerly Vanilla Moon), and Jessie Mae in the next video??
