Rebecca Herbst is incredibly youthful and beautiful and she and Steve Burton have amazing chemistry… I hope the writers given Jason a strong storyline with both his sons rather than being Carly’s or Sonny’s protector. Can’t blame Jake, he’s had his father come and go from his life for a long time. He’s a teen, his emotions are running and he’s upset. It’s very normal and glad he’s vocal and not hiding and pretending as his anger towards his father grows into hatred, he at least is getting it off his chest.
Jake's anger is justified, but he just needs time to see how much jason really loves him. Jason for most part has been an absentee father. Even when he was alive and around, he didnt spend much time with Jake. Even Danny had the same problem with Jason during 2021. Sam had to tell Jason about the fact that he was always missing stuff with Danny, which is partially why she kicked Jason out in 2021. Bottom line is Jason NEEDS to be a more present father in his kids lives. And i loved the scenes between Liz and Jason. They still got that amazing chemistry!! Yes but that was back then. Lucky never legally adopted Jake. He was just raising Jake til Jake "died" in 2012. Then in 2015 Jake came back, and then jason came back in 2017, and since jason came back in 2017, liz has encouraged Jake to get to know jason and accept jason as his father.

GH really screwed up on the timelines of both Jake and Josslyn births. If my memory serves me correct, wasn't Jake born before Joss? So why is it he is still a teenager in high school, and Josslyn is a sophmore or junior in college ? Something I always thought about, but on another note Rebecca Herbst is gorgeous and sexy as hell. She has always been so naturally beautiful to me. And to think she is near the precipus of 50.
Yeah, they really messed up when they SORAS Joss. She was a baby when Jake supposedly died and Liz/Lucky/Jason donated Jake's kidney to her. Jake was four and Joss was one. Joss should be closer to Aiden's age (14) instead of 20.

That's not even the worst of messed up timelines due to SORASing kids. Cam was born 2 years after Kristina and a year before Molly but is now Joss's age while Molly is old enough to be an asst DA. And somehow Charlotte ended up being Jake's age when she was Aiden's classmate? In fact, she was the one bullying him when they were both students in Willow's class. Can't remember if she was teaching 2nd or 3rd grade when her character was first introduced.
the fact Jason can't say anything about why he was gone for 2 years and this thing with the Feds is a lot worse and deeper than I thought. There is something else and it doesn't pertain to Sonny. Valentine is up to no good and whatever he is doing ties to Jason big time. But I can see the writers are trying to allow Jason to be around his son's and get to know them unlike the old writers.
I don't think Jason is going to work for Sonny anymore this is far deeper.

I used to like Jake, but now I don’t, he’s turning into a jerk. I get that Jason hasn’t been around, but he did that to protect him. Jason may not have been around much, but he’s still a good person, that tries to do good things. There’s a reason why the fans like Jason. He’s not some careless degenerate. The man is like a hero. He doesn’t ask for a thank you, or attention. He tries to use his resources to do good.

Fans luv the carly & jason & sonny dynamic but it was all dysfunctional and shellfish. Jake’s anger is justified. His “father” has neglected him his entire life, played dead multiple times, didn’t grieve when Jake “died”, had no emotion when Jake came back from the “dead”. The second he got the news, without even giving Elizabeth a second to breathe, let alone process that her son was “dead” he went to her and DEMANDED she cut him open and give his body parts up to Carly.
