Whew,, for a minute there I thought the "clean and cook" portion of the video was going to be that oyster toad! Not going to argue of the flounder. Although it's definitely in my top 10 list, it's not number 1! But seeing as I haven't caught a sheepshead myself either,, I can't say!
Hahaha I contemplated it - wish I did bring it back. Idk what it is but I really love flounder. I feel like why everyone loves sheepshead and certain fish is the milder fish flavor but I really enjoy the fish flavor in certain fish. That being said, I'm the only one in my family that would *off first impressions* put flounder above the sheep. Everyone else said the sheep was the best fish they've had so there's that lol.
@@CarolinaShoreFishing yeah pretty much the same for me and mine. Don't get me wrong, I really do like flounder, but as you say, it's very mild, almost bland. But at the same time I want fish to taste like fish, not "muddy" like I thought the oyster toad fish tasted. Kinda like some catfish,, not good. I'd eat it to survive but not to enjoy!

Can’t believe those landowners let you practically moor to their docks. Usually SC owners are halfway down the dock before you even touch it
I was just as surprised lol. Maybe I got lucky. Even had one invite up on their dock while I was messing with something.

I like to use a hammer to knock off the barnacle from the pilings
