I know my comment is late but the stress was mostly probably due to the trophy revealing itself thingy, which I think was the special moment in the whole show, is having technical problems. But it worked, and it was so magical for me XD

The 2019 ceremony was like one of the best things i ever saw in my entire life, when i showed to my friends they were blown away by the entire thing and thats just how riot approach things and i dont expect nothing less than that, with this year being so tragic so far i really hope they can gather somehow and still put a show even bigger and better for the 10th year anniversary, thanks riot games for being an example and a pioneer in the gaming industry pushing boundaries and raising the bar every day.

When i saw the opening for the first time i felt like i received a masterclass in live productions. I didn't get into tears but for me it was quite emotional and moving as well to see people working so hard and it actually paid off. And they did it for us.

right. I know that it really didn't live up to expectations, but many things were canceled over covid but Riot said "The show must go on" and did the best they could in the middle of a pandemic. People just need to remember that after the prior errors they had, they came back with the 2019 event. When the world is a little more stabilized... imagine what they'll do.

Having done years of behind the scenes production work, this was incredible to watch. I've only experienced a fragment of the stress they endured until the final seconds, but it was so worth it. When the Yasuo tornado showed I jumped up and yelled it was so amazing! Literal shivers when the trophy case opened. Amazing amazing work and I know you'll kill it in 2020 virus or not!

Yup, it's kinda sad that the differences between teams are so great that first G2 smashes everybody, then they choke and get smashed by GRF in a tragic fashion, then they again smash everybody completely and then FPX smashed them completely. It feels more like a rock, paper, scissors game in the end.

Preshow gets better every year, 2019 was so glorious, i showed it to so many people who didnt even have anything to do with league, and theyre always amazed at all the work that gets put into a videogame championship.
It's interesting to see, how much went wrong before the show, how much work it had to be to fix it all, cause in the end the show was perfect. Great work!

Just here to remind everyone that all this was said BEFORE COVID. I'm disappointed with Worlds 2020 too, but give the team some slack. They had to rethink their plans when the pandemic hit and figure out solutions problems they never could have foreseen like flights being cancelled, which makes directing and managing stage performances hard.
