Igor Krutoy (Krutoy means 'Cool', *1954 in Ukraine SSR). He lives and works in Moscow/ Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). His family is in the US now. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Dimash said also in an interview about the collaboration with Igor Krutoy that it is important to him that the songs are written in such a way that there is room for variations ... so every performance of a song is a surprise and every Dear can choose his favorite presentation... I can not decide.
The lyrics were written by Mary Sharon Vaughn (*1947, American musician, songwriter and producer. She writes hits for famous singers around the world, including Lara Fabian)

When you did SOS, we call it Dimashified. You calmed down a little to recover for your reaction to stranger. You’re so lucky to be introduced to Dimash on his birthday today. Your also lucky to find two of his best songs. Usually people start with his introduction 4 years ago in 2017 with his introduction to the Chinese audience with the older version of SOS. Your sos was a 10, so was his version in China he was 5 years younger than today. Your sos came from the 2021 digital concert show. And Stranger I think a few months ago at new wave in Russia. You’ve probably already been told….Dimash is a sweet, humble, respectful, kind young man. He is very close to his family including grandparents who were a large part of his upbringing. He believes entertainers or anyone who may influence on young people should set a good example. He loves his country and is proud of his culture. His hope was to introduce the world to Kazakhstan, his culture and music. Dimash has done an amazing job of that. He is one of a kind.

Avoid any performance from "The World's Best." The show in L.A. was utterly disgraceful. The production team edited and cut all of Dimash's performances down to 2 minutes and cut out his Kazakh song for no reason.

Hi Kate - I really like your reactions to Dimash so far! It's the best reaction to be speechless, to try act unmoved like some reactors do is not honest. I've seen this video easily more than 100 times, but I can watch it another 300X and it would still blow me away! Yet they act like they're not surprised or impressed, when they see it supposedly for the first time?? Or they pretend to be overly shocked. Not honest or sincere. That's why I liked your reactions, you acted like you just witnessed the greatest thing on the planet - which is exactly what happened! As they say, you were Dimashified before our eyes! I suggest you give a listen to another amazing artist from Russia....Diana Ankudinova. If Dimash is the sun, then Diana is the moon. Suggest either Wicked Game or Cant Help Falling in Love first, though she has a lot. You might have to try her CZcams channel, as the Russian Govt has taken down some content from their television shows (where Diana sang those two songs when she was on televised contests). She is 18 now, though she was younger when she sang most of those songs.

Dimash Qudaibergen was born on May 24, 1994, in Aktobe, Kazakhstan into musical royalty. Height: 1.91m; 6' 3'. Grandfather played professional dombra, grandmother was a teacher and sings.

According to Kazakh tradition, he was raised by his grandparents (Mama and Papa) and for a long time he kept his parents as his brother ans sister in law. They all live together in one house.

He has been training in music since he was 5 years old, has a perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in piano, classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. Dimash did not fit the traditional image of a singer in Kazakhstan and was criticized. Even his voice teacher forbade him to sing in falsetto ( Interview with his voice teacher - czcams.com/video/V7hkcKYAnhg/video.html ) ... but he was not deterred, won many national and international competitions.
In 2016, Dimash turned down the offer of the National Opera in Astana because he wanted to go his own way ... He created his own genre: neoclassical combined with classical, folklore and other styles such as pop, rock, R&B and jazz. We laypeople say 'Popera'. 😃
Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. He founded his own company named Dimash Ali.
In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone in China. He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today Dimash is a 'cultural ambassador' for his country and a 'national treasure' (not an official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in his family. He speaks Kazakh (mother tongue) and Russian without accent (second language in Kazakhstan), is learning English and Mandarin. He says dancing and Mandarin are difficult for him. So far, he sings in 13 languages, trains his voice for 3 hours every day... but Dimash said: "You don't need to know how hard I've worked, you just need to enjoy the results".
Experts consider Dimash to be a lyrical baritone with a typically long range. Dimash says of himself that he is a tenor. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor but as a natural soprano. He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, contralto, soprano.

Dimash always wanted to be on stage. As a young boy (3ys), he would often sit in the audience at his parents' performances and run on stage when they bowed at the end, and he would do the same.
In his childhood Dimash trained Taekwondo. A Dear gave him knee pads, but he says he's so deep into his songs that he doesn't feel any pain. 😃 Dimash looks good, is one of the 100 most beautiful men in the world and a model coveted around the world.
