People often are true to size in the bottoms and have to size up in the tops, so you’re right about potentially liking a medium top better. I size up to a medium in tops, as well. ❤
Glad to see a review again! I agree that the cut of the top is not that flattering a style (nothing to do with you - have an amazing body!) but I think in general the design is not that flattering
The lacing detail on the back makes it look much more elegant and cool
I vote try a size up in the tops if you would be more comfortable because they looked so cute as sets.

yes I have been wearing the shorts and leggings all week now and def recommend them! but the top def did not suit me personally

yes it totally depends on not only the brand but also the fabric and the fit.. it is tiring!
I think they fit very good and I prefer the navy first and brown color.
