Ive had about two before this current one ,Ive never had any problems with the M1 pro,i live in the blue mountains Australia,i fly mine from echo point at katoomba to mount solitary,it works well,all the features work ,so they say some things ,well thats the advertisementising drive,i say it starts there, finishes there,so the camera 4k and picture clarity is a little bit sharp,but it beats paying $2000 for us hobby flyer's

Each to their own I live in Australia in the blue mountains Billy goat country I sent it about 2klms away over to mount solitary from echo point with no problems /it's a bit hard to set up but once there your up and rolling along,a bad tradesman will blame his tools
I wish I had watched this before buying my M1 Pro. Here’s the biggest thing people need to know, the app and the controller limit flight to “2000m”, but it isn’t actually 2000 meters, it’s 2000 feet. So, the “flagship” M1 drone they advertise as having a 3000m range only has a 2000 foot range, or ~600 meters. And worst of all, they have denied it repeatedly and continue to gaslight me. They would rather I tell the world they lie about their distance than just take the drone back and refund my money.

I agree with the review. I own one of these drones. I like the case and the form factor. The manual is challenging to understand, and it has taken a while to figure out. It's unstable, so the video is nice, but not pro caliber and are similar to what Half Chrome has shown. Type in my name and you'll see my vids. The "return" function has worked from a few hundred meters/yards away. The control seemed a bit slow and difficult to trust. I like it as a starter drone and something to 'tinker' with!

I'm a skilled pilot and undoubtly would go insane if it's unstable. I agree with you about the ZLL "Beast" SG906. They're a decent "Toy" grade drone though at times they can get on my nerves. (I do love them though). This 4DRC M1 just looks so cool! I want one. But, I don't want to be frustrated. Probably, if I ever see it for $85. I'll pick a couple up and fly them twice a year like I do with The DEERC 22.

Captain Drone's short review wasn't this M1 Pro 2 (among other names) - his lacked the gimbal entirely with a different lower spec modular camera. Thanks for the dose of reality about flight stability. I have 4 good drones. Fimi A3, X8SE 2020, and new X8 Mini, all good budget drones and a DJI Mini 2, so why do I need this? I don't. But I thought it was interesting, if the specs were even partly true. Looks like a very small part, lol. I swore I would find DJI polish and stability for less, but to date, it hasn't happened. Ahh well... someone will get close to that target on their back. It just won't be this one or likely any 4DRC model. I tried at least 4 of their drones. I liked the F8 "Mini" copy. Flew well! Cheap build. Camera was an absolute horror. After that I moved on. Thanks for keeping my optimistic nature in check!
Maybe I would spend the $120 to take it apart and build a new drone around the Battery and the USB C charging..

There's no excuse for these crappy cameras on drones. It's sad. 3 years ago I bought a light-weight Chinese action camera for $30 that produces incredible 4k/25fps footage with rock solid EIS. It cost me $30. It runs a Novatech chipset with a Sony sensor. The guts inside are sparse. I can't get any more if them or I would. I own more than several other cams with the same chipset that take terrible videos, which makes me believe the lousy image is a firmware issue, but clearly, the technology exists to get us cheap 4k on a cheap drone. Now I want to get my Promark Warrior up in the air 😂 Happy landings Half Chrome and everybody!
Some drone reviewer's (who shall remain nameless) never met a drone they dont like. Will Rogers of the drone community. My guess is they dont want to stop getting free stuff. Anyway, thanks for your honest review of this POS.

Thanks, told me what I was looking for. Makes me wonder if any entry drone has a quality camera. I don’t need 4K, at least not yet, but a quality 1080 camera on a gps drone would be appreciated.

If it Flys right. I got one. Flys on indoor but on GPS it lifts up and takes off sideways and crashes. They are terrible on customer service.
Make sure you calibrate it. That should help

Sounded and looked to good to be true. Video quality was awful and all the other things you mentioned. Also there are drones under the 100 mark that are far better. I will stick to my Bugs B20.👍👍

This is a crap drone. Feels cheap. Hard to calibrate and takes forever to locate satellites ( star search) . Toilet bowls on optical flow. Remote is very light and feels low quality. Unstable and unpredictable. Looks cool is its only positive. A sheep in wolfs clothing. Buyer beware!

Not a drone I would use for production or even hobby video/photo work, but I would spend $150.00 to teach my nephews how to fly a drone. Although, maybe not on this particular drone.. Fimi has some good options.
