Made as a tutorial for a Wearing History 1940's coat pattern, this video will show you a method of creating your own shoulder pads at home. wearinghistory....
Awesome thank you!! I have a lot of sweaters and blouses I wear as part of my vintage style that don’t have shoulder pads, and I’ve been wanting a tutorial like this so I could make some and safety pin them into whatever blouse or sweater I’m wearing to give a more 40’s look on a given day. I was really glad to see that the first tutorial was actually from the 40’s! And pretty easy to do as well. This will work perfectly as something I can put in and out of a variety of garments and give that period look. Thanks!!!
I needed this video because my pattern instructions were vague on this step. It was useful. But a lot of unnecessary side comments that made me want to stop watching. Not sure if it’s to fill up time to monetise the video.

Very helpful. For videos, you might consider contrasting thread for the viewer. But I'm going to use this technique. Thanks!
Thank you so much!! Such a great tutorial!
I will definitely make my own pads from now on. I don't care for the look of the new ones. Thank you for the tutorial 😸
Thank you this was very helpful!
Thankyou so much ♥️
I just want one for a top. Should the size of favric squares and thickness of stuffing be adjusted ?
Great thanks.
How is it that I am watching at x2 speed and it looks like normal speed?

Lol I’m not monetized. I make no money from any videos. I guess I’m just chatty!
Thanks so much for this!!
Could u make this using fabric cut up as stuffing?
I love the way you speak! Where is your accent from?
I like your voice.

You can go to woodprix if you would like to make it yourself guys.
You should have taken different colours!!! Unfortunately you can hardly see anything besides your hands.
