Well let's see. I opened my documents and right clicked on any random text file, went to properties, and looked at date modified. It shows me the time and date stamp I last opened it. On the other hand... Castle uses a laptop and he can take that with nearly anywhere. But even still given everything that has happened you would think he had some sort of security system installed that recorded the times he came and went from his room and building. Or maybe they could check with the doorman. Or traffic cams around the victim's place of residence. The job is to catch the killer and not the guy who is being framed.

Even Espo and Ryan found out the truth in this and previous episodes respectively. And they're much closer to Caskett and spend more time with them. And also even if she knew she still had to give Beckett some reason without telling her. So emotional attachment because of partnership and friendship would be a good one

i think he could have had an alliby, the computer shows the date and time something was modified, so that could have been his aliby...right?
