My heart hurts for Castle when he tells her everything in that scene because you can hear the raw emotion in his voice. I wish Nathan Fillion could've gotten an award for that scene alone.
To me, that was both season 3 and the end of season 4. But it hits her more harder after the fight they had in season 4, she realized she could potentially lose Rick, the buildup was nice though.

He's one of my favorite actors. Castle is very well written, it has good actors, and is just amazing overall. I don't understand what people in this thread are talking about it being shit..But yeah. She sure did, more times than not. But he was no saint either, especially in the beginning. Every time a woman from his past re-entered his life, he wound up ignoring Beckett in some fashion. The writers took a lot of time, to iron out those wrinkles in his character.
I won't lie, Beckett was the biggest idiot for the longest time. Castle always wanted to tell Kate how he felt, but Kate was always dating some other guy.
She wasn't an idiot, she had issues. She couldn't be in a healthy relationship with anyone. The way it happened it only worked out with Castle because she got help...
Do not confuse a plot device with a character's personality. They had to keep them apart to keep the show rolling and Beckett's "issues" were the best solution for that. And they were right to do what they did because, as soon as they got together, the show was on its way out.
@@nagylevi3827 I disagree. I think it's possible to keep a show going when the couple gets together. It just takes good writing. I hate the will they/ won't they/ break up/ make up dance shows do with couples because they don't want the "moonlighting curse"

There are sometimes I think that Beckett doesn't deserve Castle. She is way too hard headed, and difficult. And down right seems to refuse her feelings to be human. She is trying way too hard to be emotionless. After I saw the episode of when she brought her mom's killer to justice, I thought to myself, Thank God! Finally!! Maybe now she can act more human again and less stubborn robot mode. lol
+Tiffany Williams Yeah, but you also have to think that with the line of work she's in, it takes a lot. Like...she's had to kill people before. Stuff like that can take a toll on people. But, I understand what you mean. Castle deserves more than that, but I feel like Beckett's changed since being with Rick. Plus, Beckett's obsession with finding and bringing to justice her mother's killer made her that way too. I don't understand why Beckett gets so much hate for being so obsessed with finding her mother's killer...I think most of us would be the exact same way. Or at least I would. If anyone killed anyone close to me, nothing would stop me from taking the guilty party down.
Zach Pohlman stuff like that only gets to you if you let it. Life is a privledge anyone can take from you. Some just don't let the act, when done out of necessity, destroy them.
She should have walked off into her happily ever after with that man. A man like that is everything if the love is true. I would have chosen him over the drama.
