@kmyres14 shes just making her own version. words are just words. but she brings her own style,ethnicity and culture and everything thats good in this world into her music. any song she does will do justice to the original.
Thank god for this cover. Finally a version that strips away those horrible harmonies, adds some much needed percussion, and speeds the whole damn thing up to 120 bpm. She sounded like she was as much in a hurry to finish her cover as I was.

Lyrics, shmyrics. She's an artist, and her job as one is to take a work of art and make it her own, not to simply replicate. Exact replication suggests a lack of originality, and does more to compete with the original than to appreciate it in all it's forms.
Ppls perhaps she FEELS the song and doesn't get too caught up in the little details, like a word in the lyrics. I mean i can understand how someone who was familiarized with the original could lose a little respect for this cover.
