Man, I was getting ready to do some crazy stuff like dig up the soft line and install a ball valve to turn off my backyard sprinklers. I was worries about potential leaks from that due to freezing. But a cap is all I will need. This is why we have professionals lol. Thank you for this.
Nice video , a question , if I want to plug a few heads that actually have a 6 to 8 inch riser pipe , do I have to remove the riser pipe as close to the main line as possible , my question is if I leave the riser pipe will it be a problem when I winterize the system by blowing it out for the winter , I assume that it should be okay since the gravity will actually let the water naturally drain while I blow out the system 👍👌 thanks in advance , great video , just subscribed
Hello. Thanks for the support. You can cap it on the riser as long as you blow out most of the line, it will drain down. To be safe let the water settle and blow it out again. Also sometimes the riser pipe will spin off with the sprayer so have a adjustable wrench handy to hold it or you’ll have to dig to the main fitting and cap it there. Good luck

Thanks for watching. You can cap/plug sprayers or lines that have other sprayers so when you winterize the water is mostly out of that zone.
wow make it look so simple.
Thank you
