I can't thank you enough Jay, u r an excellent teacher, just received my OET results( medicine), got 420 in speaking, 470 in listening, 430 in reading, 370 in writing. All your tips especially for listening ad reading are extremely beneficial, and the way you have explained the OET speaking assessment criteria no one else has done.
I passed my OET test today. Overall, I am happy with my results as I only studied for nearly 2 months intensively. Thank you so much to Mr Jay, Ms Judy and other teachers who are very passionate in teaching and very good at explaining questions and answers. I am so glad that I passed only with 1 try . I wouldn’t pass if E2 didn’t exist. E2 helped a lot in my OET exam journey and made me happy right now ^^
@@atiqatiq2422 I did mock test once and I found out I was so weak at listening and reading. Thus, I focused on those two more after I realised I wasn't so bad at writing and speaking. In the end, I scored higher in listening and reading than other two. Mainly, my advice is to try practicing on sub-tests you are weak at and practice again and again ( do it on Papers instead of computer). Little tips from me, make sure u score almost full marks on Reading and Listening Part A and Part B as Part Cs for both is difficult. I did that way. I believe I passed my exam because of Part A and B. VERY IMPORTANT- TIME IS IMPORTANT IN PART A. Therefore, please make sure you time it when you practice and finish within 12 mins then check again before 15 mins is up. I am sure I did bad on Part C ( but I tried my best though). For writing , I wrote my own after reading scenarios ( did compare after ) and I also copied and wrote their sample exactly on my writing book too as sometimes; hands can remember more than brain ( its not memorising ) , but it helps, somehow. Some has format as you already know, so those are the thing I did to pass within limited time frame. Hope my tips help you with what you need to score. All the best to you

Then again, try to re-write their sample letter on your book. Somehow, you will know the way the write letter in short and sweet. For speaking, always remember to introduce ( if you do not know patient ), then IMPORTANT to clarify patient's name by asking . For example, " your name is Mr Smith , is that correct ?, always ask patient what do they know about each point or topic , before you start speaking or talking about topic . for example, if you are talking about gastritis, ask patient what do they know about Gastritis ? they will answer , after which you start talking about right information. So, each point , you gotta make it clear by asking " have I made myself clear ?, then summarise what you just talked about to patient. so you do not have to finish all bullet points. When 5 mins is up and you couldn't finish is okay BECAUSE YOU HAVE COVERED ALL IN EACH POINT. I am sure, if you follow those tips, you will PASS. I wish you all the best and good luck!

I have a question sir. In the listening part a section , if in a given blank, the answer key given for it says "cats" while we write the ans as "cats and dogs" or the ans is given as "the pancreas" while we write it as "pancreas" (as mentioned in the listening audio), do we loose a mark? Similarly if it's vice a versa scenario - if we miss a word in a phrase? I understand this might hold a greater importance in the reading section part a where the answers have to have exactly what is mentioned in the given text, does it hold true for listening too? What are the things that are exempted in the answering scheme for the listening section ? Please let me know sir.
