Joshua Tree National Park Day 3 with brother Phil - Backpacking Streak Reaches 8 Years

This was month 96 of the backpacking streak. As of January 2024, the streak, which started in February 2016, is still going strong at 8 years (96 consecutive months) backpacking at least once per month.

Luv the Joshua Tree.
Did lots of climbing and bouldering.
So many hikes and overnights.
I do miss that place now that I live on East coast!!

Thanks for sharing that. The desert is a magical place. Not everyone likes it, but for those who do, we usually feel a strong connection.
