    Hi chris! Thankyou for this video, I am planning a surprise holiday for my mum and I have no prior experience of holiday booking before. Have any tips that we’re not mentioned in the video?
    Thanks!!

      Hi Hannah. I don't really, other than if you have a long interest free period on your credit card it can be good using that to pay for a holiday as long as you pay it off in full by the end of the interest free period for the reasons; 1. It would be good should you need that little extra time to save, 2. and most importantly, It gives you that extra financial protection should something go wrong. Also, since the credit card fees have now be quashed, it makes it even better. Thanks for watching and of course your comment and I hope you enjoy your holiday :)

    How does it compare with TUI and travel super market to find package deals?

    Hi great video me and my mates are planning a group holiday i was wondering what their covid refund policy is like? Worst case scenario if i get covid right before my flight will i be refunded in full for my flight and accommodation? Thanks

    • @Iminto
      @Iminto  Před 3 lety

      Hi Bayasal.
      I would recommend a fully comprehensive travel insurance just in case that happened but make sure you buy the policy well before you are due to go. Alpha does great insurance packages and they are very competitively priced and they maybe worth a look. The link for them can be found in the description of my video. I haven’t looked at their policy for a while though and so I urge you to check their policy’s, terms and conditions before you buy to make sure they do cover you, this also applies to any company you choose to buy your travel insurance from. Hope this helps and I hope you enjoy your holiday, we certainly all need one 🙂

      @@Iminto ok thanks for the advice i will certainly look at it, so would you recommend to not get the travel insurance from love holidays themselves? because they do sell it with packages but i dont know if it would be the best. Thanks

    • @Iminto
      @Iminto  Před 3 lety

      It would be easier to get it from love holidays however again i would check the policy to see what you are covered for. It maybe cheaper to get it from a third party though. Thanks for your nice comment btw 🙂.

    My school tried to book a trip for 34 pupils to Spain for a week through love holidays.
    The agent spoken to said they are no longer with ABTA????
    We went to Jet2 instead!

    • @Iminto
      @Iminto  Před 3 lety

      They are IATA accredited and provide ATOL protected holidays, what more could you possibly need. ABTA is only required for holidays without flights and since they sell package holidays why would they need to be with them???

    • @loveboaterboy8352
      @loveboaterboy8352 Před 3 lety +1

      @@Iminto so why was love holidays with ABTA before then? It was Martin Lewis who explained what love holidays did to their customers regarding not refunding them and the horrendous customer service. People were being told by LH that they had to get the flight part of the holidays back from the airlines themselves which wasn't true.
      Barring using jet2 for this next trip our school had used love holidays the previous 3 years for but after all that has been exposed its now impossible to continue.
      Its a shame that integrity towards customers hasn't been delivered.

    • @loveboaterboy8352
      @loveboaterboy8352 Před 3 lety +1

      @@Iminto Also....... we've recently been informed by "WHICH" who has strongly recommended that no one should book with Love holidays now.
      Its evident that LH were caught taking bookings and money from customers for hotels abroad that were actually closed even though they were informed about these closures..... Omg

      Hi Saima. There are a lot of places that are good for kids and first time holidays to be honest. It does depend on what kind of holiday you are wanting so for example will you be wanting to go out on trips a lot or stay at the hotel and make use of its facilities etc.

    Why didn’t you just go straight on travel republic and book it there? Instead of contacting live holidays to honour the price?

    • @Iminto
      @Iminto  Před rokem +1

      Because as I explained in the video, Travel Republic does not have the great search facilities as LoveHolidays.com do. Love holidays have the facilities to search for the cheapest holiday and travel republic was used as an example however other holiday websites can be used instead

    Only ever used love holiday once Tenerife still rather use airline Incase goes tips up was nearly tempted book malta but put off flying Ryanair just think way treat customers is shocking jet2 always my preferred airline service is far better easyjet good on domestic flights but not good on package which had bad experience with easyjet transfer never turned up costing me 70 euro get airport whilst jet2 have reps who show u which coach get on but package trips jet2 holidays do are cheaper than easyjet only if domestic flights I'd only recommend easyjet cheapest way doing it book direct hotel them book flights find it works out cheaper to third party sites
