How thick of saplings is the brush mower recommended attack?

General rule: if you can bend it over, the brush mower should be able to cut it.

does the gear oil need to 3" on the dip stick? It's hard to see the oil on the white stick.

The distance from the top of the opening (where your finger will be clasping the dipstick) to the top of the oil line should be 3". The oil is barely on the tip of the dipstick in this video.

My BM- 2011 did not come with a dip stick. For oil changes what is the oil capacity for this mower? It is not mentioned in any of the materials that came with the mower.

Hi William,
According to the operator manual, the oil capacity is 0.5L. We have operator manuals for attachments and tractors on our website under "Service Information". Here's a link to the manual for your mower:
