Karting 2023-12-18 - Teamsport Mitcham

This was a Monday night members only event so they had the karts on full power, and the level of competition was good (the excuses have started).
This was my first time in Teamsport's electric karts and I liked them. It helped they were in full-power mode. It made them nippy. Steering was nice and light too which made it easy to slide the kart round bends.
Now to the complaints, in the first session I had my seat and peddles badly adjusted and my left leg was in a lot of pain as a result. It was so bad that I ended up slowing down to rest my leg, which resulted in me being rear-ended, and the guy who hit me getting black flagged which I thought was unfair as it was my fault. I couldn't find the pit entrance so I couldn't stop and adjust my seat either! Although in retrospect, I should have pulled into the naughty booth upstairs.
On the second session my kart decided to die. And the replacement kart was stuck on speed-limit mode for ages so I couldn't get a good lap time, and my original kart's laptimes were deleted when I got the new kart.
I wasn't too keen on the track layout. It's just a series of hairpin turns. It's quite dull IMO.
