- Although I think the final game we got is probably the best that we could have gotten, looking at the large cast makes me wish to see what the more ambitious 64DD game would have been like. I remember reading about how the game world would change even while you play, probably similar to Animal Crossing. It would have been nice to watch the Tazmily Villagers grow as the world changed around them.

Well yeah, but at least the protags. Had supportive dads. If I remember correctly The Squeekz straight up abandoned everyone on the highway.

Well, it's over.
This credits roll made me extremely emotional for a variety of reasons.
-The Music (especially in the end of the Cast)
-The roll call of all the characters you met along the way and the enemies you fought in the game. All of which were memorable encounters.
-The end with the Masked Man who takes the helmet off to reveal a reformed Claus (at least in the credits) who then walks to his family and then runs off with his brother Lucas ending the cast credits. Also hello Door Knob.
-The reprisal of the iconic main themes of the Trilogy in the Staff Credits. God I bawled hearing the Eight Melodies for example...
-The ending Title screen with the Mother 3 logo restored to a more natural state complete with a wonderful track
-The fact that this game is the final installment to a short lived and memorable Trilogy of iconic games. That alone in itself is enough to make a fan cry knowing that this adventure that spanned across three games ended in such a bang or perhaps too soon for some clamoring for another game...

I imagine that at the end of the cast scroll, once Lucas and Claus run with each other, Claus slowly fades away, and all that's left is Lucas stays there, crying.

This is the best game I've ever played.
There are few games out there that I’d actually call life-changing, but Mother 3 was one of those games for me. I beat it around 7 years ago, but still think about it often. Such an amazing experience and it was on the GBA of all systems! So much love for it!
I hope this year nintendo translate this wholesome game, i know they problaby won't but... dreaming costs nothing!
@@Manu-oj2tw I hope they do it eventually, but I’m fine with the fan translation to be honest. This is the only game I can think of that I don’t ever want to see a remake of, it’s just so perfect the way it is.

always thought(especially after seeing the secret ending showing everyone survived the end of nowhere island if you move around in the the end? title.) that the credits were showing everyone getting ready to live in the new world created by the black dragon resetting the island of porky's influence.(with lucas and claus running at the end being them heading off to it to see their friends,father and revived mother/at least be given a proper goodbye.)
The 2 dislikes were the 2 Claymen that got attacked by the Ultimate Chimera.
This game just makes me want to cry. Like honestly even though its a video game its just done so well (to me) that i just hope they are ok. oh and another thing Claus might of been hasty but omg did he really have to kill himself? like honestly (T^T) so sad...

i think my favorite part of the credits here is at the very end, with the mother 3 logo, instead of being covered with metal and chrome, now its just all natural and biological, which made me think that after the events of the game, the world has took its time to go back to its roots, as a beautiful, world, teeming with life

I like to think that perhaps the doorknob throughout the game resembles change. Things will never be the same as they were the last time you found it, but that’s not always a bad thing. We see at the end of the credits that everyone supposedly lived on safely. I am a big fan of thinking perhaps their world really did reset. Maybe Claus and Lucas get to return in their earthbound 64 forms or their concept designs, and live the life they were supposed to. Happy, and together.

Just when I thought I’d actually managed to make it through the game without crying, they throw that one last bit in at the end of the credits.
The shot of Hinawa sending her bird away is the perfect way to end it, and I love the way the music around that part draws to a close too

I still don't like the ending, i feel that they could have explained better what happened when the dragon woke up, how the world changed etc. Oh well, maybe in the sequel eh...
