This is a gateway drink into the world of alcohol for all those kids whose palates have been permanently skewed by energy drinks.
I’d say I wish I would’ve had this growing up, but I’m pretty sure that acquiring a taste for so many awful chemically bitter-sickly sweet energy drinks in my early teens gave me all the priming I needed to acquire a taste for alcohol in my mid-late teens
@@Acidlibyou probably did try it lmao it was called 4Loko. It was just an energy drink with alcohol. But the government said nah can't do that anymore.
@@Bombskwad92hence why these have no caffeine. I tried one of these out of curiosity and it basically tastes like a diet monster. I tried it once and I will never do it again cuz it was pretty gross. I recommend the Super Smoofie by The Brewing Projekt. 9% and it has a smooth pineapple taste (it's soooooo goooooood.... then u have 3 and forgot u were drinking alcohol)

@@Bombskwad92 The OG 4Loko's tasted nothing like an energy drink, the caffeine was the only similarity. That shit had a strong alcohol taste and a pretty deep liquor burn for something sub 13% abv. If 4Loko was a gateway to anything it would have been MD20/20 lol. Now that I think about it 4Loko's basically a carbonated version of MD.
As someone who was blasting Papa Roach with 2 15" subwoofers in the back of a Mustang in the early 00's....I take this personally!

It's basically alcoholic soda, like the alcoholic orange soda and shit that was popular a few years back. It tastes and feels almost exactly like monster energy but with alcohol. seltzers are mostly water and much lighter in flavor.
I love these things. Then again, I'm a huge fan of Monster Energy drinks. These taste pretty much the same as Monsters.

This is my favorite alcoholic beverage because its the only one I can drink without ever feeling nauseous. Ive never done it but i could probably black out on these and wake up with a clean shirt.

i hate 90% of hard seltzers but i love the beast drinks
This review ignores one key component: these drinks actually taste like their non alcoholic counterparts, no bitter malt liquor nastiness or anything. The white monster is straight up exactly what it should be. As someone who stopped with energy drinks a long time ago but missed the taste of boomer juice... wow these are so good to me.

Seems like Monster's giving people like-flavoured seltzer mixers. You can still make Four Loko happen, but it'll e decidedly dilute.

They go down surprisingly well! You can get an entire 12 pack down without much of an issue. Does put you right at the edge of blacking out, though.
