    Fantastic review coach! Thank you so much. I'm an RT for 41 years and have taken the last 2.5 years to care for my elderly mom.Thankfully I'm quite youthful still and I'm on the verge of returning as a front line RT and your teaching and wonderful manner are invaluable. I taught so many students and nurses and families and I'm thrilled by what you're doing here. Thanks again and I'm sure more thanks to follow.Be great! Kenny

    I just have to say how helpful your channel has been for me. I spent 2 years doing RT straight out of school and was never really that confident as I was still building my skills.
    I ended up in the sleep field right after and have been doing sleep studies for the past 3 years.
    I am now getting back into RT, just got a job...and your material has helped me regain the knowledge I thought I had lost. I know I have a long, difficult road ahead of me...but I am much more excited about it this time around and I feel much more prepared after having found your channel.
    You make it so much easier to understand than any of my teachers in school did.
    Anyway, thank you again 🙏

    Hey coach! Just wanted to stop by and say THANK YOU! I just finished my first semester and did really well. Your videos helped a ton with that. My class size is about 60 and we have a group chat and are always notifying each other of your new videos or past videos pertaining to the content we were studying at the moment. This video came out literally a day before our lab practical and it covered everything that was on our practical. It’s like you knew what we needed! Forever grateful. Love the board!

      Hello RT Coach, I want to thank you once again for your hard work and dedication in the respiratory therapy field. I graduated last year and in all truth in honesty you were my saving grace. With the help from your videos I was able to pass my state boards on the 1st time both TMC and Clinical Simulation. I am not the smartest and I am a single mother of four, I decided to go through a accelerated program so I could not work. I couldn't afford to pay for lindsey jones or programs like it. I graduated from an accelerated program so it was a heavily skilled based program that gave base knowledge but it was so quick in dense the information was hard to retain. Watching your videos you helped me understand and know why I was doing what I was doing. I have been sharing your channel for over a year and I still watch your videos to this day and you continuously help me grow.
      Thanks for helping me be a strong RRT!!!

    Awesome content as always and love the word association exercise. Some ideas for future videos: how to intubate, or how to set up/assist with intubation. Emergency airway procedures, such as cricothyrotomy, and etc.
    Love the content and what you're doing for our profession. I'm always directing students to your videos, especially on the concepts I have a hard time explaining. Thank you for all that you do!

    Hi coach! I found out you channel a few days ago and immediately subscribed. I find your videos,honestly, addicting 😂! So, I just started working as a nurse in ICU (never worked in one before) and -as I am sure you can imagine- all our patients are Covid19 positive. I am learning more each day about mechanical ventilation and treatment of respiratory problems. My question is: could you explain why these patients are so difficult to adequately ventilate and the benefits of prone positioning?
    Hope I made sense!
    Thank you so much for the time you spend and the effort you put in the creation and content of your videos. I apologize if my comment is not related to the topic of this video. Thanks again!
    Ciao from Italy! 🇮🇹

      @RespiratoryCoach  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi! Love seeing nurses subscribe to a RT channel. It's a diffusion block at the AC membrane. Prone position helps to maximize V/Q ratio, in other words, your now maximizing ventilation in alveoli that are receiving maximum perfusion.

    thank you for the video lecture sir , sir i got lot of questions about mechanical ventilation some i have put them as comment with your videos , sir in mechanical ventilation we set an alarm limit ( such as peak inspiratory alarm level ) and also in some vent modes we set a pressure alarm limit
    such as in prvc vent mode , sir is there a different between a normal alarm limit and vent mode alarm limit? does the vent stop the breath when it hit both alarm limits ?
