Wonderful tour, thank you Simon; I live in the forest in central Ontario, Canada, and like you, mourn the loss of forests to the axe. My area has been clear cut three times, then farmed, but now, most of us are letting the forest be - it’s amazing how quickly a thriving forest draws back the birds, animals, insects, reptiles. These are the neighbours we sometimes forget about, but we are slowly, slowly learning to live within, not upon.
Thank you simon for this wonderfull video with beautifull music. In the seventies there was a Robin Hood serial on German TV. I loved it. It was stunning to watch the 1000 year old major oak.
What a lovely forest! I love trees... I have planted many trees in my garden as I think of them as protective, wise old souls. They are amazing. When I follow you on your walk in the Sheerwood Forest I see faces in all of the old trees. They really look back at you. Thank you so much for the beautiful and peaceful walk.// Love and light from another treelover in Sweden
I loved the walk so much. I had to watch several times to see through the tears that were rolling down my face. This was so beautiful. I just really felt the energy. When I saw the crystal shop I just wanted to run right in. I love to feel the power of the crystals. The ones you chose were so lovely. Simon you did a great job of making this special for all of us .Thank you sooo much....When I was little I spent a great deal of time in the trees. I lived on a apple orchard in Maryland. I worked in an orange orchard. I used to run up and down latter's just like house steps. I laid and slept in trees, and hug upside down swinging from my legs. This took me back and the smells of apples and oranges being picked. Well so wonderful. This was a really nice home I used to sell 🍓 cucumbers , cabbage and corn from the fields we planted with my father.
Thank you for this wonderful video. Growing up on Robin Hood legends on the other side of the world, this was an amazing treat. And as I am lucky enough to have both a Greenwood and Wildwood Tarot deck very cool to see the trails of the same names. I so enjoyed this video.
Thank you for bringing all of this beauty to us .The smoke from the California fires has blocked our sunshine here in AZ so this is so welcome to watch and be part of.👍🤗
Just SO beautiful! I don’t even have words to describe how wonderful this was to see. How I would love to see Major Oak, how beautiful and majestic she really is 😍 it would be amazing to just sit and meditate in those woods. Beautiful Green Man Chalice and crystals 😍❤️
Thank you, Simon it was lovely to see you out enjoying the fresh air. That certainly was a long walk glad to see your beautiful crystals and the goblet of the green man. I sure hope you didn't have to wait too long for your drink. Thanks again for taking us all along I loved everything.
A great Walk again Simon, i enjoyed as always, a beautiful place it's very relaxing and peaceful to watch..and a new car i think to see 😂😂.. .till the next walk with you my friend 🙂👍 🙏
I love your Walk With Me videos! Beautiful background music too - so wonderful to just relax and watch. It's rather overwhelming to look at these trees and imagine all they have seen in their long lives. Nature is magical and mystical and sacred. We've lost so many trees and creatures in the fires here - heartbreaking. Major Oak - wise old grandmother tree. Thank you, Friend, for this lovely walk in nature with you. And ice cream! ox
What a treat to watch! I love your walking videos. I get to tour bits of England I’ll never get to visit. I love all the trees. Major Oak is so majestic. Mom will enjoy this next time she comes to visit.
Thank you for taking us all on a walk with you, I’d love to visit one day, I loved Major Oak, it reminded me of something out of the hobbit with the music in the background, It felt like bilbo baggins was taking us on an adventure 😊💕
How lovely! I was there last year for the first time and absolutely loved it! We went on a guided walk with some American tourists and learned a lot about the trees, birds and the whole ecosystem.
Looks like it was a beautiful day! My favorite time of year too. We can’t go outside right now due to air quality, but hopefully soon. Loved this walk with you - thanks for letting us tag along. Have beautiful Sunday Simon!
It's years since I was last in Sherwood forest, so many thanks for this walk through and showing us your shopping haul 👍. I love looking at trees and the fantastic bark patterns. There is an old oak tree near where I live, but it's a baby 🚼 compared to the Major Oak, as it's only about 700 - 800 years old and is the last remaining tree of the ancient forest.
Thank You ever so much for the video of a Walk thru Sherrod Forest Simon. Meant a lot, you put your Heart &; Soul into your videos. Love them, especially your deck reviews. Namaste my friend, if you ever get to the USA, Northeast. Will take you for Lobster if you like it? Blessed Be & have a great week.
Thanks Simon, I just watched the video and thought it was a lovely walk. I have never been to Sherwood Forest and it is really very beautiful. So sad to hear how depleted it has become over the years it must have been a wonder to walk through it years ago. Thanks again!
Oh thank you so much for this wonderful video. I got so excited when I saw the alert for the video, but I forced myself to save it as a sort of reward for accomplishing some things. I adore your walk with me videos. They are relaxing and beautiful and (speaking as an American who desperately wants to visit the U.K.) are such an amazing glimpse of a land I love though have never seen first-hand (yet). And of course, much like your tarot deck videos, these help me add to my list - in this case of places I must visit. :-). It felt like I was walking by your side through that beautiful wood.
Hi Simon, Well thank you yet again for taking us on a lovely Autumn Sunday walk with you. I found it very relaxing and peaceful to watch. I also loved the accompanying music in the video. Also thank you for sharing your little goodies with us. The crystals was stunning. You do make me laugh though. You always wear a sweater then get too hot half way round. Wear a t-shirt and take a sweat shirt to wrap around you if you need it. Bless you, you looked worn out and hot and bothered. Have a great week. Blessings to you. x
Simon what a nice beautiful place and they have crystals 💕 too. I want to go there. Thank You 🙏 for sharing this with us. Nice that they are open and not to crowded 🌺
Our beautiful Sherwood forest! Such a wondrous place. I loved the picture of The Oak covered in snow. I'd love to visit and see the forest covered in white!🙂 Last time i visited must of been about 1996! I'm gonna go now for a visit. Thanks for a great video Simon duckie egg 😍 Love the piece of Citrine!!
🔮Yes, it is sad that they are cutting down the sacred forest. I heard yesterday that 'developers' (read destroyers) clear cut the lovely dogwood and apple trees where I grew up in Connecticut. Oh, that 🍦 looks yummy. Thank you for sharing this walk.🌳
@@the_hermits_cave 🤣 Oh don't worry, I'm coming back! Not sure when we will be allowed to travel (stage 4 lockdown here 😭) but I'm still saving. I love these walks with you. It has been a wonderful day here too, but I was in the Reiki Studio for the weekend. Weather is good here for the week. Thank you for sharing your lovely day my friend xxx
Thank you for taking us along on a lovely trip. The Major Oak is very cool. So glad it’s been preserved. You made me miss ice cream and flake! That’s a favourite treat when I go to the UK.
I very much love these videos Simon. Never thought I’d say that over the cuppas lol but I guess it’s not a competition. Either way plz keep doing these! So relaxing to watch and I love to see new places!

Thank you for sharing that, Simon! That was amazingly beautiful! I am from Iowa, we still have many forests here but it is known for it’s farms and corn crops, rotated with beans or soy. Last month on the 10th of August 2020 we had the most unusual weather event and we here in Iowa had never seen anything like it ever. We had straight line winds that were from 100 mph to 140 mph...and it lasted for the better part of an hour and we had all the big trees in the entire county blown down and homes had trees fall on them,,,roofs blown off houses.l..the destruction was everywhere and while some neighborhoods had their power back on in about a week...it took almost 2 weeks for our neighborhood to get our power back. There were 10 to 20 ft piles of trees that had been chainsawed into pieces and left on the grassy part by the street..the piles were so high and all the street signs had been knocked down...so if you didn’t know where you were going you would be lost,,..they didn’t even get to the piles of trees in our neighborhood to truck them away until 34 days later..which was just a few days ago,.
