Peace was a wrong process. Sadat submitted to the Zionists, and the Palestinians became alone for decades after the marginalization and expansion of settlements. Palestine needed Egypt.

May God have mercy on Sadat, he was a great leader and better than the ruler of Egypt. He was a reader, educated, and knowledgeable person. He preserved his country and his people, defeated them, and brought them to the brink of safety. رحم الله السادات كان قائدا عظيما وافضل من حكم مصر كان قارئا ومثقفا ومطلعا حافظ على بلاده وعلى شعبه وانتصر لهم ووصل بهم الى حافة الامان

The current president of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, is comparable to Sadat in greatness, regardless of the mainstream media’s promotion of the Muslim Brotherhood’s views. El-Sisi faces challenges today that are hundreds of times more difficult than those faced in the past.” 🇪🇬🌟

Actually president Sadat mother is Sudanese not Egyptian and his father was an Egyptian from the Nile delta. His half brother who died in 1973 war had green eyes and fair skin. The race is not an issue in Egypt like the US or Europe your race doesn’t mean anything in Egypt. You can say he was eastern African from his father side and his mother side. Btw everybody keep mentioning Nubians a large percentage of Nubians are Egyptian citizens the rest are Sundaneses.

It's intriguing how some label Sadat as a traitor, yet unlike the Palestinians, he grasped the harsh reality he faced. The notion of 'from the river to the sea' lacks practicality. Arabs sacrificing their children and those of their perceived enemies for land won't lead to progress. Consequently, in 2024, the situation remains chaotic. At what juncture does the Holy Land retain its sanctity amidst this ongoing bloodshed?

It’s actually quite understandable why some Arabs would see Sadat as a traitor if you watch this interview. He stated that all Arab lands that were occupied after 1967 must be returned to their rightful Arab owners, calling it a matter of religion and honor etc. At the time of his assassination, only Sinai had been returned. Now I understand that many things in the region changed after 1971 but still he said all this and got Sinai back without any guarantee for a Palestinian state or anything else done for the other lands occupied after the 6 day war. If one was a Pan Arabist, I could definitely see why they’d feel betrayed by him.

@@amer9208 that land has been conquered and reconquered and fought over by numerous states and empires since time immemorial. That's beside the point. All I'm saying is, it's pretty understandable to see why some Arabs would see him as a traitor. Let's stay on topic here.
